Why Enemies of Pakistan (Indians) hate Musharraf?
Indians voted to make Musharraf of Pakistan the worst... why do Pakistan's enemy hate Musharraf so much ? Maybe he has done something good ? Do you hate Musharraf too ? Do you eat 'raw' carrots? Smile

I have spoken and met tens of indians and I have never found a single indian who hates musharraf; all indians support musharraf strongly because hes hitting at the tribal areas and killing his own people. All indians support musharraf because he has spread the plague of alcohol and profanity in Pakistan; they all support musharraf because he has a soft stance over Kashmir. They like him because he has pushed the whole nation of Pakistan into a deep and dark crisis; which will take decades for us to recover from. They adore him because musharraf has been keeping Pakistani nation busy with his games of emergency/marshal law and judiciary which is drifting us away from concentrating in improving the economy and infrastructure of our country;

So your information is absolutely ridiculous

Quote:
Israeli president Shimon Peres congratulates Pakistan's Musharraf on win
The Associated PressPublished: October 8, 2007

http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/10/08/africa/ME-GEN-Israel-Pakistan.php?WT.mc_id=rssap_africa

JERUSALEM: Israeli President Shimon Peres sent a letter congratulating Gen. Pervez Musharraf on his victory in Pakistan's presidential election, Peres' office said Monday, offering a surprising gesture of support for a military ruler whose government has no formal relations with the Jewish state.

"Although we do not have formal relations, I would like to convey my best wishes on your election as president of Pakistan for a second term," Peres wrote.

"You have shown responsibility and strength in preventing the spread of violence and terrorism on many occasions and I carry in my heart your support for peace in the Middle East which I heard directly from you," he said.

Pakistan — a Muslim country and key ally in the U.S.-led war against terrorism — has no diplomatic ties with Israel, and the letter did not say when the two men had spoken.

Musharraf was overwhelmingly re-elected in Sunday's election. But much of the opposition boycotted the vote, and the country's Supreme Court must decide whether to confirm the result or disqualify Musharraf due to his retention of his powerful role as army chief.

Despite the legal battle and lack of formal ties with Pakistan, Peres "thought it would be appropriate" to send a congratulatory letter to Musharraf, said Peres' spokeswoman, Ayelet Frisch. She described Musharraf as a "good friend" of the president. "Believe me, (the president) knows what he is doing," she said.

In April, Musharraf made a surprise offer to help resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in an interview with the pan-Arab satellite television station Al-Arabiya. He told the Dubai-based station he would be willing to visit the Jewish state in order to help bring peace to the troubled Middle East.

Pakistan has not yet been involved in any negotiations concerning the Arab region, but hosted talks in late February in Islamabad, attended by Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, on issues ranging from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to the war in Iraq and the standoff with Iran.

Musharraf-Peres hand shake makes news

January 24, 2004 18:30 IST

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, whose country does not have diplomatic relations with Israel, shook hands with former premier of the Jewish state, Shimon Peres, when the two leaders ran into each other in a hotel lobby in Davos, Switzerland.

The news hit the front pages in a number of newspapers.

Peres, who has been urging Pakistan in the recent months to recognise Israel, extended an open invitation to Musharraf during their brief chat to visit Israel, reports said.

For this Musharraf responded: "If the relations between the two countries are established, then I would be pleased to make a visit to Israel."

Musharraf also told Peres that "Israel will have to give fundamental rights to the Palestinians."

Peres said there were a lot of misunderstandings between Israel and Pakistan, and the two countries should make an effort to iron them out.

Musharraf reportedly responded by saying that an effort can be made to remove these misgivings, but the responsibility lies with Israel to give the due rights to the Palestinians.

For this, Peres said: "Our friends are working to reach an agreement with the Palestinians for the sake of peace in the Middle East. However, only a strong leadership can wage war against terrorism."

and ofcourse the very famous quote from satan -incarnate Shimon Peres:

Quote:
As a good Jewish boy, I would have never dreamed that I would pray for the safety of [Gen. Pervez] Musharraf, the president of Pakistan

with friends like these who needs enemies??

Sir, I am not a ' Tail of Musharraf ' - I thought discussions here were based upon tolerance to difference in opinions. I have not called you names for disagreeing with me, why do you? Why is personal abuse being allowed on this forum ?

i think pakistanis should not think india as an enemy state

when did india attack pakistan

1)1948:pak rangers attacked kashmir

2)1965:pak rangers attacked kashmir and trier 2 acquire kashmir leading into indo-pak war

3)1971:bengali problem

the real enemy of pak are those people who use issues like kashmir 2 divert attention from more serious problems

we are poor south asean countries!

35% of south aseans are poor, dont get food 2 eat, dont have sanitation

india and pak are not going2 give up kashmir and none can acquire it with any attack

so let there be status quo and we should try 2 solve other bigger grave problems

now PPP and PML(N) want pakistan ,india 2 co-operate in business, invesment and industris which will provide employment and raise the living standard of south east asean people !

people of pakistan watch indian movies, can access indian channels and now are aware of ground realities in india !!

musharraf never used kashmir 2 gain votes!

and now nawaz are following me..

I would rather agree with noor.yours ..........in this particular regard.......we have been taught and fed with hatered against india ....but honestly what india has done..........India currently is just concentrating on its economic development and is a major business partner of US........As the Americans say ......ultimately the position of president will also be outsourced to india..........

now lets look at where we are heading....negative tragectory .........instead of moving forward we are moving backwards.............Political instability, fragile democracy, extraordinary inflation....I think instead of hating india we should follow their ways to prosperity, economic development and demcracy.

THE ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL TERMOIL THAT WE ARE FACING RIGHT NOW IS ONLY DUE THIS ONE PERSON .......MUSHARRAF ......NOW ALONG WITH ECONOMIC CHALLENGES WE HAVE TO FACE OTHER CHALLENGES LIKE SCUICIDE BOMBING , POLITICAL INSTABILITY , ENERGY CRISES , BREACH OF TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY TIME AND TIME AGIAN BY US AND AFGHAN FORCES..........where are we heading .......

only solution to all the probems is education ...............now look at this extraordinary statistics........

Unknown wrote:
ISLAMABAD, June 10: The Economic Survey for 2007-08 released here on Tuesday revealed a staggering number of 12,737 non-functional public sector educational institutions out of a total of 231,289, with Sindh having the largest share of 58 per cent (7,387) of them.

Of these 12,737 non-functioning institutions, 11,589 are public schools while 1,148 are other educational institutions.

Pakistan Education Statistics 2007 suggests that out of a total number of 231,289 educational institutions, 164,579 are in the public sector while 81,103 are in the private sector. (The figure does not include technical professional, vocational, polytechnic institutions, non-formal basic education schools and deeni madaris).

About 37.8 per cent schools in the public sector are without boundary walls, 32.3 per cent without drinking water, 56.4 without electricity, 40.5 per cent without latrines and 6.8 per cent without even buildings.

Considering higher percentage of population as majority of these institutions are in rural areas, the availability of basic facilities are inadequate, the survey noted and called for providing the missing facilities to such institutions. It also highlighted the need for reducing current imbalances of school facilities at various levels in different provinces.

About physical infrastructure of educational institutions, the survey said 83 per cent public schools are housed in government buildings while 5.7 per cent in rent-free buildings. In contrast, private institutions are predominantly situated either in rented buildings (43.1 per cent) or owned (42.8 per cent) buildings or 11.6 per cent in rent-free accommodations.

The survey revealed that 5.7 per cent buildings that housed educational institutions were in dangerous conditions with most of them in Balochistan. Rest of the 51.6 per cent buildings are in satisfactory conditions but 42.7 per cent need major or minor repairs.

It said the role of public sector is more dominant in promoting education than the private sector. The share of public schools is also higher in rural areas.

The survey highlighted the need for enhancing the role of the private sector by providing incentives and introducing innovative schemes like education vouchers to encourage healthy competition between public and private sector to help improve both the quantity and quality of education.

At the primary level, the public sector dominates with 86 per cent primary schools as compared to 14 per cent in the private sector. At the middle level, only 37 per cent schools are in the public sector as compared to 63 per cent in the private sector.

However, at the vocational or polytechnics level, the share of private sector is higher (70 per cent) than the public sector. Almost all the deeni madaris (97 per cent) are in the private sector.

The survey said deeni madaris reform programme was initiated by the previous government with the introduction of formal education in 8,000 seminaries to mainstream them through grants, salaries to teachers, cost of textbooks, teacher training and equipment. According to the survey, literacy rate in Pakistan has improved in recent years at a moderate pace and the overall literacy rate (10 years and above) has been increased to 55 per cent in 2006-07 (67 per cent for males and 42 per cent for females) as compared to 54 per cent in 2005-06. Literary remains higher in urban areas (72 per cent) than in rural areas (45 per cent) and more among men (67 per cent) compared to women (42 per cent).

It saddens me to have a nation of 150 mil taking a negative trajectory while bumps at the top are fighting for power.

FYI - three to four Indian companies will be floating large IPOs in NY and London for raising capital and guess what - all of them are non-IT firms.
