WHO WE ARE !!!

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!

Hope everyone reading this will be fine, why i am writing this is what required to watch these channels then i browse this forum its good website in all way.

The thing i want to share with everyone is that i am 30 years of age and last 9 years i have been living abroad currently in Dubai. I never use to think about my country but i love Pakistan. i was in pakistan 2 weeks ago when this Benazir incident happened HOW BAD Sad

i never supported her but never had bad feelings about her. Its only about pakistan.

We are being mashed by our politicians our rulers around the globe,really i now ashamed telling that i am Pakistani its only about the Politicians and i keep telling others that Pakistani are good,lovely people but its only the Politicians who are making the situation worst. No security for anyone in Pakistan.OTher even call us a fighter and now since DEC 27, they even started teasing me that who is secure in your country. I have indian college and i admire they are really doing good and even INDIA everyone talking about INDIA.What has happened to Us, We are Good we are next to THEM, Why we are 20 years back from INDIA.There is corruption as well.Then we are degraded all the time.

Our country has no foreign policy no constitution. We do not have Electrity, Gas, Wheat for our Own People. We are Killing our Nations. why i do not want to live in Pakistan only because we do not have system.

PAKISTANIS LISTEN !!! PLEASE CHOOSE SOMEONE NICE IN THIS ELECTION GET THIS CROOKS OUT OF OUR COUNTRY WHETHER ITS MUSHARAAF OR SOMEONE ELSE.JUST TAKE INDIA AS ROLE MODEL AND DO THE BEST DO'T LET THIS HEAVEN IN THE HANDS OF SOMEONE WHO IS NOT GOOD FOR US.PLEASE PLEASE THINK OF IT......

I have a feel of what you have written as I am abroad as well but bro you should give no damn to what others think or say about your country, because you know its your country and it is best and no one can change that reality. Anyways, I really appreciate your advise for these elections to vote someone senseable, I send out the same message to our fellow Pakis.

well after all these dilemma's such as Lal Masjid, Chief justice, may the 12th and benazir's assasination there are still a few people in Pakistan who think that mr. musharraf is making a big difference in that our country has progressed. This is sad..

Anyways, India is not 20 years ahead of us, its just that current political and social scenario is in favours of India that is why they are booming. there is a little example to it e.g. politically; india has been a strong ally of Russia from the day 0 and at the same time they have been closely engaged with Israel, for that reason and now their policy across the globe has changed so they have made up friends in states as well that makes them stand out politically. but anyway civilisations come and go there are crests and troughs during the course of every civilisation, thats exactly whats happening. socially; professionally Pakistanis and Indians have almost the same ability or intelligence, we have same brains as they do but an indian can do whatever westerners do, they drink, they eat they socialise with gorays in an organisations, which is very important for a gora to get down with him on the weekends to the pub and drink, a pakistani on the other hand wouldnt go for that and naturally indians progress more.

I hope we see Pakistan progressing and going on top while we are alive.

i am proud to be pakistani i live in sweden and when i move in europe people dont like my green passport but it doesnt mean that we try to hide our own identitiy and become ashamed of being pakistani i love pakistan and we will make it a great nation Inshallah.

AS anne said u should be proud of ur country....Hei i m in india...As ugariwich rightly mentionesd indians are not 20 years ahead of pakistan..Economically there is hardly any difference...ANd politically if u becme stable right after election,u come at par with india....Try to portay a better picture of ur country abroad .Even india has 100 problems.BUt we are not losing hope in our system...Ya kick off musharraf and start developing faith in democracy...Lastly have better relations with india Very Happy

Who don`t want better relation with India Question

Of course everybody in Pakistan watns good & better relation with India as a two
important states in Soth Asia. But unfortunatly there are some people who don`t want that
Pakistan & India can be a good friends at all.

The problem with us is that we don't make our leaders do what we want as a nation. Some of us say bad words against our own nation when it doesn't like the orders of incompetent or illegal rulers. We become sentimental after listening to their speeches and hollow slogans. We don't ask them any questions. Sometimes we get irritated when someone try to ask some tough question from such rulers. The educated people (including myself) in Pakistan don't fulfill our duty. We don't strive to get real knowledge by reading books and reviewing various sources of knowledge. We believe only in information (or disinformation) and become sentimental after listening to false stories and gossips. We start destroying our public property without thinking for a moment. Some of us even go to extent of killing our fellow countrymen after listening to the fatwa of illiterate mullahs. On top of everything we call these illiterate people as scholars. It's a shame on the educated people and on their education which cannot make them differentiate between right or wrong. We use double standards to justify the wrong doings of our favorite leaders. In this way the so called educated people are damaging rather than properly guiding our poor nation which spent a lot of money on our education. Remember, that we get subsidized education in Pakistan and our uneducated countrymen pay for it.

you are quite right apart from scholar thing, not all the Islamic scholars are same. I have been in the company of scholars who have law, finance and literature degrees, and at the same time they are mufti's as well; those scholars are very respectable and honourable. Trouble is that everyone comes up with an arguement to prove that ulema are illiterate or uneducated so irresponsibly that it has moulded the word "moulvi" into a sort of symbol of "passionate illiterate non sense person" which is absolutely wrong. Everyone speaks of their -ves as you did and as you said as well that we say bad words against our own nation although you seem to be doing same for scholars anyway, my point is when you say that there are illiterate scholars please dont forget to mention the great scholars of all times, who are the source of knowledge for us and by the help of whom we are all muslims today!
