What is his current status? Is he a Sunni or a Shia? I heard he used to be a Shia but now he has converted to Sunni

Its good to see someone come up with this video, as he always has been sandwiching such bad things in to Islam. He is always trying to unify Shia and Muslims of any sect [On the face] with his lavish talks. But if you see in the background he is comparing both and then showing his choice of Shiaism to be the best. One must watch his program on GeoTV in which he hosts Alims of both sects in order to evaluate him. As far as his status is concerned it is known to none and he must be the one to clarify it. These people portray themselves according to situation which they are in at some moment. He will be Shia among Shias and try to be Sunni when seen among sunnis. What he is at heart he and God knows well. But for us he has no religion at the moment.

I don't know if he converted to Sunni Muslim, I think he is still shia. There is video you can get on tauheed-sunnat.com which shows him abusing the Sahaba-e-Karam. If he converted to Sunni I wander why he still invites the shia mullahs to his program where all they do is bakwas. GEO should fire liaqat hussain and hire a Sunni person to host interviews with Sunni ulama only. Problem is entire media is controlled by these shias.

mohtaram agar aapko yeh naheen lagta hay he is a bad guy or something then you have just been made stupid by him. I think that he has changed during the past few months but before that he was horribly dramay baaz person, and may be he still is dramay baaz. I liked this guy after MQM kicked him, now he is well respected in my eyes !!!

I also liked some of his speeches on Aalim Online, but now he has proved first time that he has gained 'Islam's values' in him.

Allah is for everyone, even for the Non Believers, and that makes Islam from an Islamic point of view, the religion for everyone. Sunni or Shia, I dont care about that as long as you respect the SACRED Personalities of any religion and faith. I like the way he talks and the way he brings all of us together on one platform even for a few minutes, we are together and theres no fighting. I just respect him for that.

But on the other hand, these words will just get him more hatred... May the Allah Almighty has his mercy upon him... Ameen. I am no one to judge...

If he done mistake in past and now if he come to right path then I hope that ALLAHA karim definetly forgave him and we are humanbeing so we can only pry for the batterment of every one along with ourself.
