Terror pledge after Pakistan bomb
Pakistan's president has pledged to fight the "cancer" of terrorism after a suicide bomb killed at least 54 people in the capital, Islamabad.

In a televised speech, Asif Ali Zardari appealed to "all democratic forces" to help to save Pakistan.

The bomb, at the Marriott Hotel, left a six metre (20ft) crater. It is believed to have been detonated in a lorry.

The Czech ambassador was among those killed. The death toll is expected to rise as the wrecked hotel is searched.

Most of the dead were Pakistanis. One Vietnamese, a German and an American are also known to have died.

At least 270 people, including at least a dozen foreigners, were injured in the blast.

Four Britons and an unknown number of Saudi, German, Moroccan, Afghan and US citizens, were among those hurt.

The BBC's Barbara Plett, at the scene of the blast, says emergency services have not been able to reach the upper floors of the hotel, where more people are feared trapped.

Well I think rather than blaming each other we should as a pakistani find out the cause of all these incidents; maybe a dialogue or if not then firm stand against all these terror acts but NOW we should must take a decision because unfortunately we have lost many of our innocent brothers, sisters and kids.

So we need to be vigilant ourselves and fight against all these acts.

LET I TELL HERE ONE THING

since we are outside Pakistan, we appear to be a bit more sensitive
and feel things a bit bigger than they actually are

otherwise life is normal in pakistan

brother i agree with you coz i go back 2 pakistan every year, but situation is getting worst day by day

only solution to stop those bombings: we need 2 stand as PAKISTANI, not as sindhi, baluchi or watever.
and our leaders need to understand that helping america is only gonna make things worst for pakistan.

Allah Hamd Do Lillah the vast majority of Pakistan stand as Pakistani but what about our socalled leaders. There is no doubt that "united we stand & devided we Fall".Yes we abroad living Pakistanis are more sensitive & concerned about our country & nation.
