Performing Arts Program
Accentuating the differing elements between acting, movement and voice, the IAFT programs in the Performing Arts incorporate different theories and methods where students study in non-traditional acting classes that emphasize discipline and work ethic. Different levels are also offered to give potential students flexibility and introduce to them an educational system that intensifies step by step - thereby making it possible for them to act in student film projects during their stay. Students can also choose to take independent study courses.
Diploma Program in the Performing Arts
This intensive program offers theoretical, practical and performance training to prepare students for a professional career in acting. Putting a special emphasis on individual work and audition pieces, this program requires students to participate in four public performances and eight student film projects in their course of study. Through its main course offerings and electives, students also get additional training in music, improvisation and scene study.
Certificate Program in the Performing Arts
Composed of two nine-week terms, this program offers a holistic approach to acting, movement and voice. Students are required to participate in two public performances and, through the program's synergy with the filmmaking curriculum, four student film projects.
