Sisters freed after 15 years of solitary confinement in LHR

LAHORE: Human brutality still exits today in many forms. The sad story of two sisters, Nighat aged 37 and Riffat aged 25, freed after 15 years of solitary confinement from Lahore bleeds everyone’s heart.

Rescue officials and area people raided a house near Bari Studios today and got the two sisters freed who underwent 15 years of agony. Nighat and Riffat were chained and put into solitary confinement by their brother, Qaiser who is an Ex- WAPDA official.

Rescue officials took both sisters and their father to Services hospital for initial check-up and later shifted them to a mental hospital. During last 15 years, Nighat and Riffat were poorly fed and clothed and were not even able to walk on their feet when they were freed. There were times when they had to eat plant leaves for survival. In the presence of area elected representatives, rescue officials got them released.

According to doctors, solitary confinement for such a long period has caused a specific psychiatric sense of deprivation in these sisters and it will take some time for them to recover.

A very sad news

uffff very very sad....this guy qaiser is a bloo.. bas.... how could he do this to his own father n sisters......mein Allah se dua keru gi ke iss aadmi ko buri se buri punishment mile....log joote maarein isse, iska mun kaala kerke roads per le ker jayen n isse bhi 16 years ke liye qaid mein rakhen... I bet we have more cases like these around the country, i bet we have more females held under such inhumane captivity all around the country, will these women get justice, i doubt it, its just a hot topic today, it'll soon be forgotten tomorrow.
The brother should be beheaded for such a crime.

Are we able to call ourselves Humanbeing.It is the negation of "Blood is thicker than Water".How can one stoop that low to insult the best human relatio of the sisters.The father which according to the Islam teaching:"Even when is kafir,we should not say no to them in any case except to give up islamic religion".I am speechless why we are insulting animals I think they are far better than people like those.He should be punished & make a "NIshan e Ibrat"for all those even thinking or repeating of such a crimes.There are in the personal confinement of many Waderas,Choudris,Sardars & Khans a lot of innocent people we have to raise our voice & take all the measures to release them & to send all the culprits no matter who they are.My heart is bleeding to hear about such incidents.Such a people should be publically executed or atleast to let tthem go through the same treatment.

i remember a couple of months ago same kind of action was carried out in Austria. It became famous and was condemned all around the world, specially Europe and America. I am sure this is not very strange in pakistan so will be forgotten in few days.. Bad for us!

That is sad. But As usual THE NEWS people keep up their poor way to report a story. This does not tell you who and when someone tipped Authorities. Also why the heck elected reps were present? Who took the time to call Elected reps and then rescued these women in their presence. Its rediculous!!

This is one case that appears on media, there are a lot of small jails created by cruel people in Pakistan for the sake of their lust, leadership, bank balance of family, etc...

That kind of people must be hang in front of other corrupt people so that they see or take ibrat from them!!!
