Sargodha Most famous for its air base. The second most significant feature is citrus. The Largest producer of Kino in the world. It has a university and a medical college now. Sargodha Govt college was given the status of a university in 2002.

I grew up and was educated in sargodha..left for overseas many years ago. sargodha, like other places must have changed.It was a very pleasant city to live,not too big not too small. I do miss my city.Living in europe and usa has not erased the memories of this great city. Iwould love to hear about it from someone living there presently. khuda hafiz.

Sargodha (Urdu: سرگودھا),is a city located in Punjab province, Pakistan. It is located in northeast Pakistan, to the north-west of Lahore by the lower Jhelum Canal. It is 10th largest city of Pakistan. It is an agricultural trade centre with varied industries. Sargodha is one of three "planned cities" in Pakistan (the other two are Faisalabad and Islamabad)
It is an industrial centre for trade in cotton and other agricultural commodities. Hosiery, textiles, chemicals, and soap are the major manufactures.[citation needed].
A large Pakistan Air Force base is located in the city
