I do consider myself a very broad minded, respectful and social american. And as far as my impression of Pakistan and its ppl goes, its actually a very nice one. My best friend is a pakistani (he's a regular in this forum, however MIA till sunday i think) and him and his family are the nicest people i have ever met in my life. As far as politics goes, my interest level in that is slightly less then zero. Razz

And you are right, us yanks are a pretty laid back people and you'd be surprised to know the difference of opinion between the govt. and general public.

As i have mentioned before, i have no interest in religon and politics. I am here to learn more about everyday people and culture and maybe make a few good friends along the way.

It is beautiful outside today, thats for sure. We dont get too many beautiful days like this in Chicago summer is way too short here anyways.

Nothing new, regret not going to wisconsin with the gang (all my friends) so getting bored.
