I don't think its going to make any difference, all these politicians just messing with the country, and filling there dollar accounts. Personaly I think Musharaf did do few things right and few wrong, like current Nazim system, or how he handled Indian priminister when we were at the verge of war. But he messed up big time on Lal musjid and Judiciary system.

Now President Musharraf has resigned and ended his era...lets hope that there is fresh light ahead for the people of Pakistan which holds democracy, prosperity, peace and unitedness for all. Lets hope the rich/poor divide ends and our country shines amoungst the rest in today's world. Let the be equlaity for all and again Pakistan be a country that we are always proud of.

BUT UNFORTUNATELY HIS THREE BIGGEST SINS WASH AWAY ALL HIS GOO DEEDS
Despite of these achievements, his single biggest sin is to order and kill over 1,000 young girls and boys who were all trying to memorising Quran at Jamia Hafsah. The commando action was taken at that time when final details of the deal were negotiated. Some one will call it COLLATERAL DAMAGE but at the end of the day he is personally responsible for these killings
Other TWO issues obviously are termination of judges, imposition of Emergency, kidnapping of hundreds of jihadis and handing over to US without any trial etc.

Musharraf shouldn't resign. He was the only person after independance, who worked only for Pakistan. No political leader in country worked like Musharraf. He is a brave man.
