Plethora of hotch-potch?

Islam is a religion of peace that is now devided into a meek section that is similar to Buddhism and a militant Islam that is more akin to the Christianity of the Middle ages than Islam.
Most of the onslaughts from the West are coming on this second version of Islam that is being propogated by the Madressas. The concept of Jihad of this section is not new and it was practised in olden times but what is new is that the spirit of killing and being killed while killing others. The followers and preachers of this version think that those who are not with them are against them, hence is the justification in massacring them..the reason behind its so wide spread are some of the causes and acts of injustice committed by the West against the Muslims. They are Kashmir, Palestine and Bosnia and illegal occupation of the Muslim lands. Though it took a long time to instill this spirit of militancy in the minds of the youths, it is not easy to root out if the causes are lying unaddressed. Hence wide spread differences in the interpretations of concepts in Islam.

Pr today there is huge propagande against Islam all over the world. Islam is a peaceful religion and
teach peace to live with. When we talk about terrorisam then offcouze it is just bullshit that those who
says that it is Islam who is behind the all the terrorisam. What about Pelastine and Israel. Pelastinian fighting for
their rights since many years. They have just stones in their hands against F-16 and lots of other weapons! In Kashmir Indian Army killed more than 100.000.00 inocents boys, girls, women and men with out any strong reason. Why you forget this Indian terrorisam from India Question

Iraq and Afghanistran are totally destroyed by USA and some other countries with out any reasons. Why only muslims are targeted always? (Maybe the answer is that muslims are not united as well as other religions)
You have got 110% wrong information about Islam. Suddnaly you just following western media even you liveing in a Islami Republic country. People like you even can change their religion just to follow the western. But I have to say again that my religion Islam is a peaceful religion in the world. Unfortunatly pr today all the others religions are united and they have a propaganda against Islam. Because Islam spreading all over the world day by day. This is what western countries don`t like.

Islam is a widely-misundertood religion. Those who are unfamiliar with the faith often have misunderstandings about its teachings and practices. 1) Muslims worship a moon-god

2) Muslims don't believe in Jesus

In the Qur'an, stories about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ (called 'Isa in Arabic) are abundant. The Qur'an recalls his miraculous birth, his teachings, and the miracles he performed by God's permission. There is even a chapter of the Qur'an named after his mother, Mary (Miriam in Arabic). However, Muslims believe that Jesus was a fully human prophet and not in any way divine himself.

3) Most Muslims are Arabs

While Islam is often associated with Arabs, they make up only 15% of the world's Muslim population. The country with the largest population of Muslims is Indonesia. 7) Islam promotes "jihad" to spread Islam by the sword and kill all unbelievers

The word Jihad stems from an Arabic word which means "to strive." Other related words include "effort," "labor," and "fatigue." Essentially Jihad is an effort to practice religion in the face of oppression and persecution. The effort may come in fighting the evil in your own heart, or in standing up to a dictator. Military effort is included as an option, but as a last resort and not "to spread Islam by the sword."

The Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad over a period of two decades, calling people to worship One Almighty God and to live their lives according to this faith. The Qur'an contains stories of Biblical prophets, because these prophets also preached the message of God. Stories are not merely copied, but the oral traditions are referred to in a way that focuses on the examples and teachings that we can learn from them.

Prayer is a time to stand before God and express faith, give thanks for blessings, and seek guidance and forgiveness. During Islamic prayer, one is modest, submissive and respectful to God. By bowing and prostrating ourselves to the ground, we express our utmost humility before the Almighty.
