Passport Problem as Profession equals "Government Offic

Aoa,

In my passport there is an entry called "Profession" and my profession is mentioned as "Government officer" because i am working as a lecturer in a university. Now whenever I travel outside pakistan i have to provideEx-Pakistan leave (NOC) certificate from my University, even if I am travelling for few days. Once I was offloaded from the plane due to this reason that I didnt have the NOC that was really awful.

Is this profession written on every passport? because i have seen some new passports that does not have this field. (mine is 4 years old).

Is it possible somehow to modify or remove this entry from the passport without resigning from the job? i mean they will ask for documentary proof in case i apply for a change of profession, right?

While having the same passport (showing Government officer profession) Is there some way to get through immigration on the airport without showing them NOC/ex-pakistan leave ? (at any pakistani airport)

I really need to do this as i need to travel more often on short trips for which it becomes very difficult to take NOC from employer all the time and urgently.

Well here is no such entry in my passport i have two passport one is 4.5 years old and other is just new

Why don't you get a new passport and put "teacher" in the occupation field instead of government officer?

Dear after reading the message ofm_shakeel, I want to add that I am also an Officer in government service and I have a "Red Passport". Peoples holding such passport have to submitt a NOC for their departure in Pakistani Airports in front of immigration officials................ any one from this froum can give the answers of the following questions:

(1) How to get rid of Official passport without resigning the job.
(2) Suppose that I resign from the Govt. Job and then apply for a fresh 'Regular Passport' then is there a chance that my ex-official status can be retrieved from NADRA database.

Any one can elaborate please!!!! m_shakeel is also requested that I you got some solution then please share with me.
