| Pakistan Package PTCL |

KARACHI: The unwanted Pakistan Package, which was introduced in early December by PTCL without the will of its subscribers, continued to be a problem for those who got their bill with additional Rs199 as Pakistan Package charges.
Many who received the bill were unaware that why this Rs199 has been added to their bill. The irony is that even after two months, the deactivation number 1236, is not working properly and subscribers are still finding it hard to deactivate the package on phone so they are seen in long queue at telephone exchanges to deactivate Pakistan Package which was imposed on them without seeking their concern.
Are you also getting 199 extra?

Is it some kind of tax??
well government have authorty to apply cess and taxes ...i heard this company is a public sector...i dont know how much shares are there with govt now?
if its privatized then,there should be no tax...

Being a PTCL employ I know that
Public have 12 percent
Etsalat has 26 percent
&
GOVT. has 60 percent
Till now
I don’t know why our planning section put burden on public
Because These packages could not give relief to public but damage PTCL image in mind of public
