| PAKISTAN HOCKEY RESULTS AT BEIJING OLYMPICS |
|
Unfortunately Pakistan lost her first hockey match againstg Great Britain
The match ended with a score of 2 goals by Pakistan and 4 by Great Britain
James Tindall of GB scored first field goal in the 2nd minute
Rob Moore of GB again scored the second field goal in the 14th minute, making it 0-2
Ashley Jackson scored the third goal of the match from a penalty corner in the 29th minute
Shakeel Abbassi scored the first goal in the 45th minute making it a 1-3
Mohammad Waqas succeeded in scoring the 2nd goal for Pakistan in 59th minute
But that was all from Pakistan
The BRitish consolidated their victory by scoring an another goal through Penalty corner in 62nd minute through Matt Dally
The match ended with a 2-4 sxore onthe board

Hi Guys
Its pity that pakistan hockey is on continous downhill. I just hope and pray that golden days will come back but looks highly unlikely as i cant see many people playing hockey in the streets. Now even cricket is played very less. I think its all down to computer games.
I think pakistan would finish 4th in thier group unless any miracle happens and i hope mircale will happen, its been a long time since we had any success in sports.

yap after losing two matches against britian and australia there are very feeble chances left for pakistan to reach even the semi finals let alone getting gold . imust say the've dissappointed quiet a lot of people . any ways i wish em good luck    in there future

We need to move our emphasis from our hockey time to a couple of other events in the olympics, some thing that we are good at and will have a decent chance to win a medal in. Its a shame that boasting a population of 170 million plus we are unable to bag even a bronze and this has been for the case for the last 10 plus years.

The match vs England was a the big match i think , australia and netherland are so strong , we can't do anything . After the first match the competition was over and this is very bad .but we have good players and in 4 years we can go in semi final
