Pakistan beaten again in World TT Championship

BEIJING: Pakistan team was defeated by Uzbekistan and Lithuania also in the World Table Tennis Championship here today.
On the second day of the championship, being played in China, Uzbekistan beat Pakistan 3-1.
In the first match, Asim Qureshi of Pakistan defeated Anvarl Karimov of Uzbekistan by 11-5, 12-10, 11-9 but in the remaining matches the Uzbek players won three consecutive matches and finally emerged victorious 3-1.
In another match, Pakistan were outclassed by Lithuania 0-3 as none of the Pakistani players could win any match.
The Pakistan team has so far played three matches in the championship but could not win any of them.
