Online Exit Re-Entry Facility is Introduced in Saudi Arabia

It is the first e-service in the Kingdom to fully satisfy all the conditions of e-government services. It has been developed as feature in "Muqeem" service that is provided by Al-Elm Information Security in cooperation with the General Directorate of Passports.

More than three million exit-reentry visas are issued annually in various provinces in the Kingdom, which means that three million transactions are started with a paper form, a photo, a certified delegation letter, and a payment reseed. This transaction will be handled by service officers to go through the procedure in one of Passports branches to be submitted later on to the beneficiary unless it is interrupted due to a traffic violation or any other missing documents.

That all become a history now !!
The issuance of an exist-reentry visa through "Muqeem" service will take less than two minutes and without the need for anybody to leave his office. The new story goes as the following:

In The First Minute: The delegated employee will pay for the visa electronically through one of accredited banks websites.
In the Second Minute: The delegated employee will access "Muqeem" website on the Internet by entering his access credentials and he will issue an exit-reentry visa.

After that, he will print the visa at his office on regular printing paper and he will attach it to the employee's passport. The expatriate employee will receive his passport and head to the airport with no worries.

This story might seem unreal, but this is only for organizations that have not subscribed to "Muqeem" yet !!

ہیومن رائٹ واچ کی ایک رپورٹ کے مطابق سعودی عرب کا قانونی نظام ایسے ظالم آجروں کو تحفظ فراہم کرتا ہے جو اپنے ملازمین کو غلاموں جیسی زندگی گزارنےپر مجبور کرتا ہے۔

اس رپورٹ میں تین سو ایسی عورتوں پر جن کا تعلق، ہندوستان، سری لنکا، اور فلپائن سے ہے، ہونے والے مظالم کی تفصیلات بیان کی گئی ہے۔ یہ تمام عورتیں جدہ میں ہسپتال میں کام کرتی ہیں۔

ہیومن رائٹ واچ کی رپورٹ کے مطابق سعودی عرب میں کام کرنے والے مزدوروں کو نہ صرف تشدد کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے بلکہ ان سے جبری اقرار نامے بھی لیے جاتے ہیں اور جب ان پر کوئی مقدمہ درج ہو جاتا ہے تو پھر ان کو انصاف نہیں ملتا۔

ہیومن رائٹ واچ کی رپورٹ میں سعودی عرب میں کام کرنے والے غیر ملکییوں کے ساتھ ہونے والے مظالم کی اتنی تفصیلات بیان کی گئی ہیں جس سے یہ تاثر ملتا ہے کہ سعودی عرب میں آج بھی غلامانہ نظام رائج ہے ۔

سعودی میں غیر ملکیوں کو جن مسائل سے گزرنا پڑتا ہے ان میں ہفتہ میں چھ دن بارہ گھنٹے کا کام اور پھر رات کو ایک اجتماعی خواب گاہ جیسی رہائش میں ڈال دیا جاتا ہے۔چودہ چودہ عورتیں ایک کمرے میں رہنے پر مجبور ہوتی ہیں۔

رپورٹ کے مطابق اس کو ایسے لوگ ملے ہیں جو غلاموں جیسی زندگی گزارنے پر مجبور ہیں۔

سعودی عرب کی لیبر منسٹری کے مطابق اس وقت سعودی عرب میں آٹھ سے نو ملین غیر ملکی کام کرتے ہیں جن میں اکثریت کا تعلق برصغیر سے ہے۔

جب ہیومن رائٹ واچ سعودی عرب میں رائج نظام کو تنقید کا نشانہ بنا رہا ہے اسی وقت انٹرنیشنل کرائسس گروپ نے سعودی عرب کے حکمراں شہزادوں پر زور دیا ہے کہ وہ ملک میں سیاسی اصلاحات نافذ کریں۔
