As you might have gone through the welcome message of this part of the forum. This forum is dedicated to answering the confusions all Non-Pakis (even Pakis born and bred abroad ) who might have any misconceptions about Pakistan, be it about terrorism, crime, corruption or anything. If you want to clear off anything or want to know the reasons why Pakis do this and that then please post your questions over here in this section (that is [b]" Misapprehensions of the world about Pakistan"[/b] under the heading of [b]"Pakistan in Todays time"[/b] on the main page of this forum). We will try out level best to answer you.

I would also invite the prominent members of this forum to help us answer those questions and express their opinion.

According to U.S ,Pakistan is front line state fighting terrorism whereas China calls Pakistan "ALL-WEATHER FRIEND".Without Pakistan's assistance US couldn't achieve anything in Afghanistan at all.And China still needs strategic partnership with Pakistan to get to Strait of Hormuz through Gawadar Port to protect it's oil supplies against any future threat.Depth of Pak-China strategic partnership is multi-dimentional and will not be spoiled by any mishaps as Chinese government has acknowledged.

Pakistan did a lot for USA against War on Terror. Exclamation

This is our own responsibility to set us priorities as a nation,to stand our own feet & expecting not toomuch from others.Which is mostly our problem.We should have our own ageda of national interest & do & adopt the policies beneficial for us.Leaning on others & expecting from them to solve our problems will stop us to rely on ourselves.We should have Self confidence as a nation & faith on Almighty Allah.Inspite of our wrong political stucture,missmanagements of our polititions & beaurocrats which led us to this present political turmoil,we should not forget that we have capabilities,resources & means to survive as a successful nation.Only we have to act as a nation,reject all those the have betrayed us & our priority should be an indepent successfull Pakistan.we should not prefer our personal benefis,interests over our national intrests.Our own like dislikes of political personalities or parties or affiliation with them stop us working for our county interest.We should be optimists having faith on Allah which will give confidence.We are a Nucklear power inspite of all the countries including USA have tried to deprive us to be.Trust on yourself.

I for one dont like our country being used and abused by countries that do not even respect our sovereignity. The Pak-China realtionship is much more mutually beneficial.

Must we always dwell on what could have been? We have been screwed by America ont his issue. We need to recognise it, accept it and make sure it never happens again. The JF-17 program with China is a welcome step in ensuring that a fiasco like the f-16 one doesnt happen again.
