New borns do not realise what is good & what is bad let you grow up. Laughing Laughing
The reality is that no one amongst these all polititions of today is correct or indespenseable. We should not support someone because of our personal likes & dislikes. We have to see realise what is good for the country.Majority of the Pakistanis knows that not only Musharraf on many occassions lied,he has supported corrution eg.Shoakat Aziz,Sherpao, chowdris etc.And the real crime which he has commited to give false facts & figures about Pakistan economy. Moreover it was not his father wealth that he has forgiven Zardari/Benazir about their corruption & embazled wealth of Pakistani nation. He could atleast recover that wealth of this poor nation. So if you are realistic & patriotic would you support his acts of these big crimes. What is our priority? Nation, country Or these corrupt individuals. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Calling "Spade A Spade" Be realistic ""& Reply with quote
Hollow, what makes you sure about this. You are very innocent or naive to think of Musharraf like that.He is the one responsible for all the corruption in his regime firstly because a ruller is than capable of leading nation when he has control over his regime, responsible for all wrongdoings otherwise anyone can be a leader.Secondly who you think has sold our Pakistanis to USA,where is the money gone send for earthquake calamity, who is responsible for Shoakat Aziz missmanagement & who is behind the masive corruption of Chowdri,s etc.He has for himself bought houses & lands in USA & Turky. Moreover if he is not corrupt why he allowed Benazir & Zardari to eat billions of nation money. He could atleast forgive them on condition that they return back the money to the nation,Was it his father money to let Benazir & Zardari go with it.Their children should enjoy their luxurious like at the cost of my poor nation & our poor nation is suffering & we deliver Fatwaaz that this one is good & that one is not corrupt. Please everyone having feeling for the nation come out of this shell of self decieving & call "Spade A Spade".

Why doesn't he "abdicate" his throne. Or why cant he just work together with the politcal parties to work out something that will be positive for the people of Pakistan. The elections have been held in Feb. but its now June and no one has done anything yet about the people, lawyers, this "President"

what should be done ....... Reply with quote
salam for all,

i think government should list all the people who have taken part in corruption ......... atleast people who have taken loans but did not return .... got them absolved ..... people should know these people .... also if shaukat aziz or musharraf has taken part in any corruption then some of their links should be shown to public ...... if anyone can write about it then it will be good too ...

bro there are some people who are either ignorants or deaf, dumb and blind that they cant see what musharraf has done to this great country. They cant see the arrogance of musharraf that every Pakistani is bashing him, and he being a president is helpless, so I would rather call these people plain stupids who cant understand the dynamics of events happening back home; so better leave them alone:)

Brother sooner or later they will realise I hope by than it is not too late.We lacks staunch believe in Allah,if we have "Imaan"we will not give importance to the individuals & personalities. If we realy change our direction towards Allah I am very sure Allah will reward us with someone having the qualities of a true leader.

Mussharraf must leave the power Reply with quote
It's really funny that after losing the election he isn't leaving the power. Who is in control of Pakistan? Is it Pakistani public, Army or the CIA? How long the country will run according to western power? Pakistanis must decide the fate of Pakistan or someday it will become another Afganistan, which American govt wanted for long time.

Of course! he is right, because he has taught the others how to steal in the best way. He brought shokat aziz and used him for his own motives and also let shokat aziz steal the country's econimy. Once he is kicked then all of us will know, how much he has stolen. I hate him too much.

I THINK Reply with quote
I think that he has become victim of the circumstances
Democracy means comprising with all
This includes comprising with all those who matter inside and outside the country
Its like a game of chess
You do have to accept so many things, even if you dont like them personally.

I think he should have run the country without democracy , with army rules

He chose a wrong way

Democracy cannot solve all your problems, rather it makes powerful more powerful.
What do you thin k about a strict military rule,

For those who experienced the days of Ayub Khan and his martial law
Were we better off then without democracy
Or we are better off now with democracy

Musharraf did what ever he did solely for the betterment of the nation. He may have been misguided, but he was a lot more patriotic than any other democratically elected leader before him

Dr AQ Khan a National Treasure Reply with quote
Before returning to Pakistan, Dr AQ Khan had a successful career and was living a comfortable life in Europe, something many of our countrymen yearn for and would be willing to sacrifice a great deal in pursuit of. Very few people would be willing to give this up and return to Pakistan, Dr Khan being one of them. His sole motivation being Pakistan’s betterment and defence, a noble aim indeed. The action performed by him and his team enabled Pakistan to stand with dignity and free from cowering in India’s shadow.

The way Dr Khan is being treated is despicable. Our spineless Leaders and system are corrupt to the core. It is this system that allowed Dr Khan, a hero to be degraded and treated as a common criminal whilst at the same time this filthy system elevated notoriously corrupt politicians who have harmed and looted the country to become innocent over night and enabled them to assume positions of leadership under the shade of the NRO.

Only the Khilafah system offers an effective challenge to a corrupt system and leaders. The Khilafah system would value and ensure the protection of its citizens (Muslim & Non-Muslim); it would encourage contribution from its citizens by being loyal and cultivating a conducive, fair environment where justice is applied and not manipulated.

What kind of signal is this filthy, corrupt system sending to other overseas Pakistanis who have the desire of emulating Dr Khan by serving Pakistan – Don’t!!! Perhaps we should be organising a long march to change this corrupt system.
