Love the Poor
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "O God, grant me life as a poor man, cause me to die as a poor man and resurrect me in the company of the poor.." His wife asked him why he said that, and he replied: "Because (the poor) will enter Paradise (before) the rich. Do not turn away a poor man...even if all you can give is half a date. If you love the poor and bring them near you..God will bring you near Him on the Day of Ressurrection."

Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1376

Narrated by (Radhiallaho anho):
Allah's Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam)said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 8 : No. 414

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said:

"The heart of an old man remains young in two respects ie his love for the world and his perpetual hopes"

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith No. 1069 Book 81, Chapter 5 Narrated by Hazrat Abu Huraira (r.a.)

Narrated 'Abdullah:

The Prophet said, "He who slaps the cheeks, tears the clothes and follows the traditions of the Days of Ignorance is not from us."

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri :

The Prophet said, "When you see a funeral procession, you should stand up, and whoever accompanies it should not sit till the coffin is put down."

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "Hurry up with the dead body for if it was righteous, you are forwarding it to welfare; and if it was otherwise, then you are putting off an evil thing down your necks."

Narrated Nafi:

Ibn Umar was told that Abu Huraira said, "Whoever accompanies the funeral procession will have a reward equal to one Qirat." Ibn 'Umar said, "Abu Huraira talks of a too enormous reward." Aisha attested Abu Huraira's narration and said, "I heard Allah's Apostle saying like that." Ibn Umar said, "We have lost numerous Qirats."

Narrated Anas:

The Prophet said, "When a human being is laid in his grave and his companions return and he even hears their foot steps, two angels come to him and make him sit and ask him: What did you use to say about this man, Muhammad ? He will say: I testify that he is Allah's slave and His Apostle. Then it will be said to him, 'Look at your place in the Hell-Fire. Allah has given you a place in Paradise instead of it.' " The Prophet added, "The dead person will see both his places. But a non-believer or a hypocrite will say to the angels, 'I do not know, but I used to say what the people used to say! It will be said to him, 'Neither did you know nor did you take the guidance (by reciting the Quran).' Then he will be hit with an iron hammer between his two ears, and he will cry and that cry will be heard by whatever approaches him except human beings and jinns."

Narrated Abu Huraira-:

The Prophet said, "He who commits suicide by throttling shall keep on throttling himself in the Hell Fire (forever) and he who commits suicide by stabbing himself shall keep on stabbing himself in the Hell-Fire."

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), said,

He who observed the 'Isha' prayer in congregation, it was as if he prayed up to the

midnight, and he who prayed the morning prayer in congregation, it was as if he

prayed the whole night.........(Muslim)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), said,

"The supplications of three persons are accepted,

and there is no doubt concerning their acceptance:

the supplication of a father,

of a traveller,

and of one who is wronged.'

(Reported by Ahmad, Abu Daw'ud, and Tirmizhi)

Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "If you want to put on your shoes, put on the right shoe first; and if you want to take them off, take the left one first. Let the right shoe be the first to be put on and the last to be taken off."

Sahih Al Bukhari Volume 007, Book 072, Hadith Number 747. Narated By Abu Huraira

Narrated by Ibn al-Sunni in ‘Aml al-Yawm wa’l-Laylah from

Abu’l-Darda’ (may Allaah be pleased with him), from the

Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who said:

“Whoever says every day, in the morning and the evening,

Hasbi Allaahu laa illaha illa huwa ‘alayhi tawwakaltu

wa huwa rabb al-‘arsh il-‘azeem

(Sufficient for me is Allaah, besides Whom there is no other god;

in Him have I put my trust and He is the Lord of the mighty Throne),

seven times, Allaah will suffice him with regard to what

he is worried about, in this world and in the Hereafter.”

Ubada Ibn Assamet may Allah be Pleased with him, said I heard

the Messenger of Allah (Salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam ) say:

One who makes Istighfar (asks Allah for forgiveness)

for the believers, Allah shall record a good deed (hasana)

for him, for each & every male and female believer"

(reported by Albani)
