Loadshading is a big probelm for the masses in Pakistan now a days.
Because the production and supply is too low according to the demand. I think we should produce electricty from solar energy and with nuclear energy. Our governement and the concern departments should sit together and discuss on these sources of electricity and we will inshallah overcome the loadshading.

Load shedding should not be happening n Pakistan. Allaha, has blessed our country with natural resources that can be utilised to create electric. We have plenty of wind and sunshine to create energy from them, but it will take political will from our government/politicians to invest in our countries future. I do hope the new government will have vision to develop our country and not start destroying what little we already have through missmanagemet.

Unfortunately Pakistan is facing power loadshedding problem due to lack of water.
Our Government does not take action for that issue and rulers of Pakwatan are not sincere about as well as issues.
I pray that Allah help to move them towards right path.[/b]

| Pl. be responsible |
|
I know that loadshedding is a serious issue for pakistanis at the moment as it not only hampers the domestic, buisness & industrial activities but also spoils one's mood, even psyche.
As we we all can understand v. well that there is no quick solution to it bec. of the huge gap between the power generation capacity & power requirements of the country currently.
The prudent way to tackle this problem is to tackle it with a three pronged strategy, installing new power plants, reducing line losses & reducing consumption.
It is the third point where we as a citizen come in & can play a huge role. Let us promise NOW that we will be energy-wise and save as much electricity as we can in every possible way. Just ASSESS your way of using electricity in your home objectively and you will find that you can easily reduce it by atleast 30% simply by changing your habits. This will save you your hard earned money as well. It will also be beneficial to our beloved planet earth.
So let us START now & I would be happy if people of this forum at least come here and tell us all how much have they reduced there electicity consumption in one month. This will encourage us all & also show that memebers here are better pakistanis. I will especially appeal to the Buisness community to contribute activley as their contribution can make a siginificant difference to this campaign.
So come on let us show that we can stand up to the challenges of the day, can behave responsibly and be ghood citizen instead of looking at & blaming the government for all our evils.
THANKS

its only the starting....as ppl turn on air-conditioners, there will be surge in the demand for electricity and pakistan woud not be able to catch up....so longer loadshedding. Pakistan shud invest money in solar power and wind turbine.
The sun's heat in lahore in summers is so harsh that it can melt black plastic if left in open sunlight for a few hours, so solar power cud be verr ybeneficial in areas wth a lot of sunlight......i wonder if the heat can melt the panels...lol.

There are many, really MANY resources available in PAK-LAND but the problem is how to make better use of all these GIFTS from Allah Almighty for the sacrifices offered my fore-fathers of Pakistan.
Thermal Energy, BIO Energy, Wind Energy,Power Plant erection on small canals/rivers can be the cheap and quick alternatives for load shedding and solar energy, atomic energy can also be good alternatives to cop with this blackout prevailing in our Home-Land.
Pray to ALLAH to bless us with ruler loyal to nation and also we should ask for forgiveness of our own sins!
