In my eyes, it is quite tough to reproduce the poets, authors and writers as we had at times. It is not easy either to create affinity for our literature unless we introduce our culture marinated with bodies like shahrukh, ashwariya, and tom cruise or any other famous body of hollywood or bollywood. Because the center of attention of our nation are these two industries which gives them a remarkable contentment in their notions of literature and languages.
Undoubtedly Urdu is a very strong language, it has the magnificance of expression, it presents all the tools that a writer would require to express his passions and emotions efficiently. Urdu has been flourishing in schools and universities and that is probably the only way it can become as effective and useable as it was about 25 years back. The diversity of education system in Pakistan is the criminal who murdered urdu. Pakistan enjoying British education system (A-O Levels) and at the same time having different boards of education i-e (Federal, Karachi, Punjab etc) could do no better than damaging the unification of the nation and of course, Language. There needs to be a well defined education system which HEC should implement that should include subjects being taught in British education system(i-e from A-O levels) and on top of that the other subjects like Languages should be added. Also, Urdu should also be appreciated at the same level as English is appreciated in spoken and verbal communications. Sub standards like presentations in English should be suplemented by presentations and speaches in Urdu. Also a more practical reading of literature of urdu should be introduced in the sylabbi.

English as status symbols should be depreciated which implies that people should become more sensible and responsible on what language to use and what to fancy.

In the section of Delusioned Pakistanis I have written an article on the importance of urdu and culture, I would request members on this forum to go through it atleast once.
