Shah Rukh Khan to perform in Kolkata

KOLKATA: In a thanks-giving act, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will delight the audience at the Eden Gardens on Thursday with a 20-minute performance ahead of his Kolkata Knight Riders team’s Indian Premier League (IPL) match with Bangalore Royal Challengers.
“Shah Rukh will be performing with his troupe for about 20 minutes before Thursday’s match starts. We will put up a makeshift 30 ft x 20 ft stage just outside the boundary near F or J block in the gallery,” Red Chillies event manager Mohammad Morani said on Tuesday.
Sources at Red Chillies, a firm floated by the star, said Shah Rukh was overwhelmed with the support his team was receiving in Kolkata though they had suffered four defeats in a row. “So this performance is to thank the KKR supporters in Bollywood style,” said a source.
“Actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have given their verbal consent to be part of the show. Besides, famous WWE wrestler Khali may also make a brief appearance at the show,” sources said.
Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) joint secretary Amitabha Banerjee said: “We don’t have a problem with Shah Rukh’s performance if the arrangements don’t interrupt ours.”

Saif as usuall some silly movements at songs, kareena making funny faces as alwaz, Shah with big smile followed by some sentences & finally Khali will through them all from stage  performance done show end....

Aww U disappoint me Arshy. Still didnt answer me question..that whats the fun in going to a show and see someone reciting lines from a movie or jumping up n down in the name of dance and lip syncing . Its pretty retarded.
Anyways i took our advice n pulled up some videos online and funny thing ..i had my monitor on split screen..on right side i had discovery HD on ..they were showing documentary about some monkeys jumping . On left side i had that guy dancing
and good God resemblence was uncanny. lol
P S... You should get a hold of an episode of "so u think u can dance" to find out what dance is. hehehe

R you talking bout Lisa? lol U dont like pregnant women or wat? That was from last year at slane castle. She was pregnant. My neighbour Amanda thinks that its offensive of u to call pregnant women fat. I on the other hand am defending you. I know the amount of pregos u have there ..proly u kinda get sick of watching all those ladies produce babies all the time. lol

it all depends on ur taste ,,,u may not like stage show or movies,,,but sum can raise ques on ur hobbies aswell,,,so just relax,,,,ppl like it so they watch it

ya this is exactly wat i ws tryin to make hm understand..ppl like it so they watch it...
i mean i can Watch Shahid Afridi just standing on field for hrs... i enjoy it so i dnt care even wen others may think its stupidity...
so if ppl r enterained by SRk's Dancing<jumping<Lip syncing(its a sort of Talent too)..or just by watching hm... y shud we bother...

Again mate u r thick or wat? I wasnt talking bout movies or stage shows. Look up stage show. I still dono what he does in the show that qualifies it as stage show. If u cant understand the question then ummm sh..up lol. I like stage i like theatre..i like concerts...but i ve never seen movie actor doing a show based on the lines of a movie.
P.S ..You can watch it all you want..most of yous cant live without it anyways. lol

Aww Arshy All i was doing to understand what s so entertaining bout these shows. I wasnt trying to stop people lol what else these people gonna do if they dont go to these things.
