This is Jada Chongi. GT road divides here into two sub-roads. Left part enters the inner city(Civil Hospital, Mujahidabad, Machine Mohallah, are situalted along this road as well as the Kuchahri road; the famous Boys comprehensive school is also there on the same road) while the right one continues as GT road and passes by the outer city.

Hitman bro, don't know why, I think that this is Railway Road. If I am not mistaken, Rescue 15 is on railway Rd. Isn't it? Just opposite to Fauji Depot cloth shops??? and there is a jeweller shop too. I can't remember the name at the moment. As for as I remember, just a few steps back on the side of Rescue 15, there are famous Punjab bakers(alias American Bakery), Food Mehal etc... and on the opposite side Shani brothers, Mian brothers book sellers etc. and this road joins GTS chowk, if we continue towards the bridge in this picture. is it?

Moon, I am not in Jhelum right now, else I would have given you full details. However, if you could ask someone on the forum to get you the contact details of an organization named Almarkaz, I think you'll reach a highly dedicated team. There are many organizations but as you have asked one dealing with social and women issues specifically, I think this is the one amongst the best.
Tanzeem e Amal is a group of one the most devoted people esp youngsters but they are chiefly working towards Health care and Blood donation.

Gul Rukh, As per your guiding, I been informed to them for these peoples.They went and meet to DR GULSHAN HAQIQ MIRZA there.She guide to them that you need to go to the police station and through the court you can sorted out your problem. When they told her that this is not a good way for a respectable family and we don't have enough money for this,she said that leave your contact no i try to sort this problem through EIDHI'S. But still never contacted. This is again politics.They are helping these peoples who spported to them. they are not treated fairly. In these days they are doing chearity owned bussiness.

I ask coz thats where im from and i will be arriving in Pakistan in DEC.
I have only visited Pakistan once when i was just 10 years old............now im 30.

It's indeed so disappointing. Personally, I believe there is quite a big lot of people who are working in walfare sector but as for domestic affairs, I don't know much. I heard that Dr Mirza(either Gulshan Mirza's husband or bro in law, I am not sure), who founded this organization was quite a sincere person. But again..who knows, often it's just their marketing and they do nothing.
I am sorry for the lady who is in problem and I do pray that may she be relieved from this painful situation very soon.
I wish, I could help her in some way.

yes Dina is in Jhelum Distruct; not a part of Jhelum city though. Dina is a one of the big towns of Jhelum Distt.

Nice to hear that u are planning to visit back after a lapse of 20 yrs, I guess. Must be excited. aren't u?
don't forget to visit Rohtas Fort. It's not far away from Dina city.

HI DEAR GUL, SORRY TO SAY BUT IN MY EXPERIANCE THE WELFAIR ORGANIZATIONS IN PAKISTAN, THEY ARE DOING THEIR BUSSINESS AS A CHARITY AND THEY ARE EARNING THEIR NAME BUT THEY ARE EATING THE FUNDS FROM THE PUBLIC AND FORM THE ABROAD. THEIR FAMILES DOING NOTHING JUST ALL FAMILY SPURTED BY THE CHARITY.
DID YOU KNOW THEIR ARE MANY CASES OF THE WOMEN WHICH WE CAN SOLVE WITH MORAL SPORT IF THESE ORGANIZATIONS ARE DOING WELL SO WHY THE PEOPLES ARE SUFFERING WITH THESE PROBLEMS? ANYWAY STILL THEY DID NOTHING WITH THAT LADY.SHE IS STILL LOOKING THE EYES WITH SYMPATHY AND KINDNESS.

i had the opportunity of living in Jhelum for a little less than 5 years.man,i just love that city.i realy miss Tikkas of Sheeda,Bela barbecue,punjab bakers,shandar chowk.want to go there again and again.

i miss these places 2

I'm from Sarai Alam Gir in Pakistan but have lived in the UK since birth.

Popping over to home land next month for a couple of weeks, which is no way near long enough, but will try to get a day to see the mentioned areas on here.
