Hey que was up??????????????? hpe u doing great
well thats a great fighter plan and a great addition to Pak airforce..............But my analysis is that in times to come China will be collaborating more with India than Pak.......Their foreign policy is constantly evolving and they are being more and more flexible ..............so lets see

Hey Aimen. Things are OK yaar. Was in D.C last week for a conference, just got back sunday. How are things with u?
China and India are collaborating but only on the economic fronts. There's a lot of Chinese investment that is much needed in pakistan but it makes its way to India because of security situation in pakistan which is really sad and thats why we need to to clean our own house.
But i dont think China has any millitary or defence treaties with India. millitarily, I think Pakistan is still China's first choice.

umm i dont understand one thing.
JF-17 costs around $15-20 million
where as used F-16 costs around $18 Million
so why doesnt our govt just buy F-16's instead of buying 100's of JF-17's

the $15 - $20 million cost is splitt between china and pakistan. they are not buying them, Pakistan is manufacturing them with China. So the cost is half. besides, its just as capable, if not more then the F-16s. Pakistan is also getting 36 J-10s from China which is 4th-5th generation Chinese fighter and leaves F-16 far behind.

J-10 will be known as FC-20 in PAF.the plane lacks AESA radar but pulse-doppler will do for now.PAF's requirement will also be of greater payload and range.
The plane is not that capable rite now,but with upgradation will surpass F-16 Block 52+.
