Hi,
Can anyone tell me if this the first its snowed in Islamabad ?. Did it snow in Rawalpindi also ?. I am curious to find the answers.
Here in UK, its cold and wet but we have not had any snow yet.

I think this was 2nd time in the history of Islamabad, before this in 2003 (i think), we had snow in Islamabad. Yes this time, snow was even in some parts of Rawalpindi as well.

|
Amazing pictures. Snowfall happens probably once a decade in Islamabad. Winter of 2007-08 looks like the entire region is seeing a very cold spell. Not sure if it has any correlation with record hot summers / climate change.

tHIS SNOW FALLING REMINDED ME THE YEAR 1984, THAT TIME I WAS IN MATRIC CLASS, AND LUCKLY WAS ON LEAVE, IT WAS 10AM, WHEN THE RAIN STARTED, AND THEN IT WAS TOTAL DARKNESS, AND OPPPPS,,,,,,SNOW STARTED TO FALL, AND CONTINUED FOR ABOUT 2 TWO HOURS, EVERY THING BECAME WHITE,,, UNFORTUNATELY THAT TIME I HAD NOT CAMERA.....BUT..............IT WAS AMAZING, EVEN THE NEXT DAY OUR SCHOOL GROUND WAS WHITE WITH ICE...
