if i'm not mistaken he used to hold a really good talk show called Zaviya.i've never been a fan of talk shows much but i still remember waiting and being glued to the t.v set listening to him talk.def one of the greats who did so much for urdu lang and much more. a good post...

salam 2 all! Ashfaq Ahmed was no doubt a great man when it comes to urdu drama bt i admire him a lot because of "Zavia". though it was initially a talk show bt thnx 2 Sang-e-meel publishers who v saved the treasure of his words in a book form. every 1 must read that. it gives u optimism, humbleness n makes u 2 love human beings.
