1. Why doesnt anyone on this board have the ability to write anything which is gramatically correct. I am yet to see a single post that would not make the author seem like a fool. Go and learn some grammar, not just english, but also hindi and urdu, I know all three, and can say sadly not one of you knows the slightest bit.

2. Its extremely funny to see an India-Bashing, Pakistani site to have only Indian advertisers.... Saw the ads of HDFC bank, WatchIndia.tv, zee TV, shaadi.com... Cant you find even one of your own countrymen(pakistani) to advertise on this site?

What a pity did I feel on the topic of this debate.

Has Pakistan come to this low that a language defines separation from India and when that language itself originated in India! I thought the worthy choices could have been - Pak growing @10% p.a. compared to India's 9% or dominating the world of IT and other emerging technology, becoming the culture capital of Asia and so on.

Instead, by speaking more of Urdu Pak would be known as different from India? why not by speaking English which would take Pak to the top league and ahead of India? Urdu has no future in Pakistan not to talk of globally.

As fpr Pak being different than India, Pakis need not worry. In all world capital, a smart educated looking south-asian (usually there is a laptop on the shoulder) is understood to be an Indian, while most taxi drivers, meat-sellers, and other bearded low-skilled are assumed to be from Pak. If you want to feel it firsthand, just touch any airport outside Pakistan (including any Islamic country).

In one area, Pakistan is much ahead of India - export of terrorists. But we Indians would like Pakistan to continue to occupy the top slot there.

Funny how the two persons above me carry a holier than thou attitude.

In Canada, it is extremely common to come across Indian labourers and Indians involved in odd jobs. There are also many Indian families living here who are struggling financially. Suprisingly, the Pakistani-Canadian community is over all in much better financial position than their Indian counterparts. Therefore, before you know the reality, please don't generalize. Things are different depending on where you live.

As for the Indian advertisements on this website, the poor Indian chaps fail to realize that the advertisers are simply scanning this webpage for the content and then showing related advertisements. Unfortunately even on many Pakistani websites you don't see Pakistan advertisements as almost all South Asian companies advertising are Indians and thus you again see Indian ads. Well forget it, don't bother you feeble minds with this technical mumbo jumbo.

As per Urdu, yes there is a future in Pakistan for the language, it defines Pakistan and creates a strong cultural connection of Pakistan with Indian muslims, Afghanis, and to a lower extent, to non-muslim India. The trick is to realize that we don't need to speak English or make English our primary language. Urdu needs to be promoted and polished further. There are many, much better economies than Pakistan who speak their own unique language and still get the contracts and investment. Just take a look at South Korea, Poland, and Japan...who speaks Korean, Polish, and Japanese outside of these countries?

Finally, salman bhai, I don't know what you are thinking, granted that it is true that majority of desis who are in high-tech or well paid positions are Indians but that is just due to the Indian population. I have known countless Indians and even more Pakistanis and believe me, in every field you are guaranteed to find an odd Pakistani who tops his/her Indian counterparts...atleast this has been my experience with regards to Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Besides, noor.yours and salmank can keep on taking pride in their India. Yet they are forgetting a critical thing which makes them burn inside (and thus the reason they hang around here):
