India and Pakistan cricket series is going to start from tomorrow. First one day match will be played on 5th November 2007.
We are just 1 day away from another titanic encounter between Pakistan and India, a clash that makes the Ashes look like a playground tiff. Let's have a look at the ODI stats in matches involving these two nations...
Win/Loss Record - Pakistan holds the whipping hand over India, having won 62% of all ODI clashes between the two nations. In fact Pakistan have dominated India in every decade since ODIs began the 70s (67%), the 80s (68%), the 90s (60%) and the 00s (57%). This last decade, for the first time Pakistani dominance has fallen below the 60% mark and the decade isn't over yet. If India can win this ODI series 5-0 then they will have become the more dominant team in the 00s with a 51% win percentage over Pakistan.
