Current PPP government staging this dog and pony show, what for??
Zardari and General Kiyani already signed the pact to allow the incursions into FATA. They appointed General Pasha who visited the US General week prior to his appointment along with Kiyani to get the blessing.
Who are they fooling by staging big security drama around the Parliamnet building, if this is truly independant democratic government elected by the public than they don't need any security barriers.

We need peace in Pakistan not blood shed of innocent and helpless people. Yes we need to get rid of those foriegners from FATA that can take place by negotiating with local Malik's and Jarga's.

Karzai want to negotiate with Taliban's and he was endorsed by the EU union and even US, why can't we do same??

Here are few reason's why we fail to convince the world.

1- We have no credibility on the world stage
2- We have no real ally
3- Pakistan is a liability that nobody want to stand beside with us anymore
4- Our interests are economic based not Pakistan based, we are afraid to take stand because if we do they will cut our economic aide.
5- Our leader (Zardari) is known crook.
6- No National pride, being dependent on foreign aide(begging) will take away the innovative thinking. Always will fear of losing aide to overcome the fear will compromise your country's interest. ( case in poit, Defense minister's statement).
7- All institutions are contaminated with corruption, whole world knows that and that's why large corporation stay away from Pakistan to invest money. Everybody want their cut.
8- No independent Judiciary

What can be done???
All religious parties and Mullah's have to issue a united front in condemning violence(suicide bombing).

Very right.Correctly said!!!! Keep it up.It is our duty to educate the people of Pakistan & to give them insight to realise.

Right, People of Pakistan is in very difficult situation every day we live in fear, our bas..... corrupted politicians and Mullahs who pray in the morning and k.uf in nights are to be blamed for destroying our country, these Mullahs shouts America is the enemy and they send their children there to study and visit this country for their enjoyment and investment, hell to them!!!!

All the issues my brother pointed out are genuine but its our people who always bring these kind of people. We are the worst enemy of our own after each military dictators we select same corrupt politicians every time so I feel sorry for these enemies.

do we have objection on her smoking or becoz she is a woman who is smoking. we are somehow becoming a nation who loves non-issues so we don't have to worry about real issues. starting from zardari misspelling at quaid's mazar, zaradari-pallin, sherry rehman smoking, etc etc. our country is in such a dire situation and we waste time and energy discussing such shallow stuff.

I think too that the first step in solving this problem is a joint statement by most of the religious thinkers ..... not "siyaasi mullas" ...... about suicide bomb attacks and other problems of exremism .... i heard today this kind of statement in news but i can not comment due to lack of information ....

people are making fun of sherry rehman on small matters ... how she speaks .. how she use make up .... she smokes etc ........ in my view these guys are non-serious, "chichore" kind of boys .... at least these comments indicate this ...

In my personal views there are 3 major issues that Pakistan has to deal:
(1) Justice
(2) Terrorism
(3) Financial

Personally I feel the most important issue is judicial. Once people of Pakistan can see free judicial than most of the issues will resolve automatically. Contrary to that if a chief justice of Pakistan is unable to get justice how can poor people of Pakistan expect to get fair trials. All these Chaudri's, Wadara's, Army dictators, Politicians are getting what they want only because of keeping the judicial captive. I salute Chief Justice of Pakistan Chaudty Iftiqar who took the bold decision of not bowing infront of an army dictator and Inshallah history will remember him as our hero.
The issue of terrorism can only be solve thru dialogue. All these religious Mullas should give fatwas accross the board that Sucide is haram. Government should appologise to the Pakistani who have been killed by accident and should Compensate the family. We don't want to repeat 1971 mistake by dividing East and West Pakistan.
Financial crisis is globally, however my mentor Sir Imran Khan has already suggested that all these politicians accross the board should invest their own money in Pakistan rather than keeping in foreign accounts. Once the oversees Pakistani feel that their money is save and politicians have faith in Pakistan economy than they will start investing more money and Inshallah we won't be needing IMF or World Bank aid.
I request Asif Ali Zardari, Mian Nawaz Sherif, Mr.Altaf Hussain, Mr, Ishaq Dar and others to setup an example for the people of Pakistan who are looking upto their leaders in this crucial time.

Imran Khan should walk the talk. Bring all his investments back in country (if there any outside), bring his kids back to pakistan so foreign exchange spend on them saved. Same goes to all leaders including Nawaz Sharif, Zardari/Bhutto, Altaf Hussain, Qazi Hussain Ahmed, Asfandyar Wali, etc.

Current government does not know how to deal with current issues due to lack of vision.

Prime Minister says one thing, president says another thing than comes the likes of Sherry and Farzana to clarify and justify their leader statements.

We have seen in recent days, world leaders are not trusting Zardari, China and Saudi Arabia refuse to give them any commitment. Even US ( Boucher) said that we will not give any cash.

We are expecting these politicians to bring their money back, no they will take out what's left behind.

If this current Government cut their spending, sending junkets to overseas, giving commitee chair person a minister status(what for) as if they don't have enough of those.

These people need to show some and take some decicive measures to show the world that they have a plan and vision to over come these tough times.
Piece meal work will not work, it needs comprehensive study, planning and strong will with sincere conviction.

These people need to stop this madness of in the name of Benazir enough is enough, do something good or get out.
