Government Will Take Coalition On Board On PM US Visit

Islamabad -- Several significant decisions have been taken in the meeting between Asif Ali Zardari, the co-chairman of Pakistan People's Party [PPP] and Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, the Prime Minister.
According to the reliable political sources, it has been agreed upon in the prolonged meeting held in the Prime Minister House, between Asif Ali Zardari, the co-chairman of the PPP and Yousuf Raza Gilani, the Prime Minister that agenda of the prime minister's visit to the US will be presented in the meeting of the coalition parties' heads on 23 July, and approval will be taken after consulting the coalition parties.
The invitation will also be extended to the coalition parties' leaders for a joint visit to the United States to amend the agenda.
According to the sources, it has been decided to intensify operation in the tribal areas, Khyber Agency, and other volatile areas during the visit of the prime minister to the United States till his return. It has been decided in the longest meeting of seven hours between Asif Ali Zardari and Yousuf Raza Gilani, the Prime Minister that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz [PML-N] leadership will be further pressurized in regard to ensuring the participation of Mian Nawaz Sharif in the meeting of the coalition parties' heads on 23 July.
According to the sources, it has been decided in the meeting that the prime minister will assure that he will talk to the US administration over the President Musharraf's impeachment in the meeting of the parties' heads.

According to the sources, both of the leaders have finalized the agenda of the leaders' meeting.

According to the PPP sources, it has been agreed upon in the meeting between Asif Ali Zardari and Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, the Prime Minister that size of the federal cabinet will be enlarged after the prime minister's visit to the United States. Chairman of the standing committees and parliamentary secretaries will be chosen in the first phase.

According to the sources, Asif Ali Zardari has appreciated the performance of two federal ministers, Syed Khurshid Shah and Shirin Rahman, the Information Minister.

According to the well-placed sources, Yousuf Raza Gilani, the Prime Minister has expressed his concerns to Asif Ali Zardari about anti-government statements of the party leaders including Makhdum Amin Fahim and said that a substantial strategy should be formulated in this regard.

According to the sources, it has been agreed upon that furious leaders including Makhdum Amin Fahim will be tried to stop from issuing such statements, otherwise they will be responded in the same coin. The federal ministers will be given responsibility to respond [in this regard].
