Geo Should be BANNED

GEO has proven to be 'enemy of the state' it has done much damage then any repair

As a pakistani (muslim) media GEO should be the voice of Pakistani/muslims
- Where was GEO when an american magazine published a front page cover with a title'Pakistan worse then Iraq'??
- Where was GEO when tons of muslims where killed in mosques and Imamabargahs - other then breaking news no follow up was done
- recent interviews by ex- Military Gen. have opened many secrets and caused embarasment, WHY GEO WHY ????
- There is a clear evidence that GEO is being supported by India to destablise our country and we all need to unite for our country and stop all enemy elements from Broadcasting any material which our enemies are dieing to see.

Yea sure. Geo ko ban kardo. Balkay mien tou kehta hoon all tv should be banned. and every newspaper as well. Only listen to our beloved polititions 'se unn say ziada sacha tou koi paida hi nahin huaa.
and while we're at it. lets close down all the schools and universities , close down all the factories, burn down the agricultural infrastructure, tarde in our cars and any mode of transportation, get rid of our houses and start living in mud huts. Stop using electricity and phones 'se they came from the west as well. They are tools of the west to control us. we should all be riding horses and camels.

And lets shut down internet as well so ppl can can stop making stupid and ignorent statements.

Geo is best channel available to overseas pakistanis to know what is happening in pakistan. I don't see any hidden agenda but a desire to help people make informed decision. How would people know who is lax with Musharraf and why the judges can't be restored, who is the puppeteer and who are the puppets. I am happy with Geo and I think people in pakistan have to open up their minds and to take matter in their own hands for running state of affairs rather than relying on previously failed politicians. well this is my view and I feel strongly that a free media is required to expose these corrupt politicians so that they should feel the pressure when they make rash and corrupt decisions.

Letting out of secrets and truth causes embarrassment? Why? Embarrassment to whom? Certainly I am not embarrassed.Don't stifle the truth because it makes you feel uneasy. Please stop this notion of ban this ..ban that. Learn to live with the truth and variety of opinions.

our media shud learn tht news doesnt mean negative aspacts only,,,y cant this so called champions of media show positives of our society and achievements,,,y cant they spread a mssge of harmony and love in society

Look every one have the right to show his/her feelings RIGHT! but media should be understand his duty unfortunately some times media ignores. we need some sort of check and balance for everything........... media can be if it shows its responsibility. there is very slight difference in blackmailing and entrapment............................................................

In my opinion channels like Geo are doing a massive service for the country and the people of the country. Let's see, just 10 years ago we only had the state channel PTV. It was the mouthpiece of the government, and still is. The quality of the programming on PTV is amongst the worse that I have ever seen. On the other hand private channels like Geo show us the uncomfortable truth, some of us can't handle the truth and cry out that it should be banned or that it is being sponsored by India etc. Is it wrong to expose the crimes of the higher ups in our government, armed forces, bureaucracy etc? Is it wrong to question what the governemnt is doing? Is the government or the army or any other instituation for that matter above law or above being questioned? The only crime that Geo has commintted is doing what no other channel in Pakistani history had done before them. And that is start questioning what our leaders are doing, exposing them and their crimes, and bringing a sense of empowerment to the masses through the process of information.

yes i agree with banlizm million times..GEO has done more damage than repair and always have promoted hatred and anarchy in Pakistan.. GEO want to promote hate and unrest in Pakistan.. i hate watching GEO and so do other Pakistanis in USA..

i dont get this why should GEO be banned? just coz GEO didnt reacted when a certain american mag published a article Pakistan compared to Iraq.

I don't see the reason why GEO should be banned. if ur image in the mirror is horrible, why do u want to break the mirror instead of working on your face so that it could be fixed. GEO is the one who has created way more awareness about where we stand as a nation. They changed the history of breaking news in Pakistan and we should be proud of it. We wouldn't have been more informed about anything going on in our country if it has not been for GEO. It is their legacy that Pakistan Television is forced to change its motto to "Truth With Responsibility".

Geo's Message and Motto "Live and Let Live" is a bitter pill for people like banlizm to swallow and for people who never had anything good to say or do for our country. Banlizm! Geo has become the voice and heart beat of every Patrotic Pakistani. If u can't handle the truth then don't even ask for it.

for one and only one reason, they have not matured from the parent Jhang Group and still have not learnt that they can not present self-made rumours as 'NEWS' remember their name is 'GEO NEWS' if it was GEO RUMOURS, I would have no problems.

Geo should not be banned.. its a great source of knowledge.. people should know whats going on around them.. geo is the only one who can informed people right away.
