| Eid Meelad un Nabi |
|
What should we do being a true lover of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)? is it enough to celebrate his birth day by reciting Naat and participating in Jaloos or we should follow his personality?
Thanks

1st of all Eid Milad un Nabi Mubarik to all of you.
When we really love someone then we try to be same as he/she wants. So this is very clear, We should follow him.
is it enough to celebrate his birth day by reciting Naat and participating in Jaloos or we should follow his personality? Upto me Following his path/personality is better.

Assalam-o-Alaykum to all brothers and sisters.
Let me make it absolutely clear, that my post in response to the Eid Malad-un-Nabbi is in no way intended to disrespect anyone or hurt feelings. It is also my intention to ask questions, strictly with a view to learn more about the subject without causing ant fitna/strife.
I therefore raise following questions and look forward to answeres with comments and advice with proof, Inshallah:
1. Should we as Muslims celebrate Eid Malad-un-Nabbi?
2. Is it permissible in Islam to celebrate events like Eid Malad-un-Nabbi?
3. Did the Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon him and his companions, advised the Muslims to celebrate Eid Malad-un-Nabbi (during his life or after his sad demise)?
4. Did the early Khulfa, who were his companions in Prophet Muhammad's (may peace be upon him and his companions) lifetime and succeded him after his death, celebrated the Eid Malad-un-Nabbi?
5. Is there any historical proof that the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him and his companions) practised in the celibrations of Eid Malad-un-Nabbi?
6. Is Eid Malad-un-Nabbi an innovation, unique to the Muslims of the Sub-continent?
7. When did the practice of Eid Malad-un-Nabbi start and who was the 'starter'?

Day's of Sahaba, and generation after generation Sahaba, and the next generation and the generation that followed didnt practice this eid and those generations are best generations in islam means other generations whose less religuos made this eid to celebrate and to do what ever they want |
