Information:
Drosh is the second largest town in Chitral District. It is 26 miles by road down from Chitral Proper. It is also just four miles above Mirkani, the town that is the gateway to Lowari Top, the high mountain pass that leads to Pakistan. Khowar is spoken in Drosh. It is a major staging area for the freedom fighters.
