Dr AQ Khan a National Treasure

Before returning to Pakistan, Dr AQ Khan had a successful career and was living a comfortable life in Europe, something many of our countrymen yearn for and would be willing to sacrifice a great deal in pursuit of. Very few people would be willing to give this up and return to Pakistan, Dr Khan being one of them. His sole motivation being Pakistan’s betterment and defence, a noble aim indeed. The action performed by him and his team enabled Pakistan to stand with dignity and free from cowering in India’s shadow.

The way Dr Khan is being treated is despicable. Our spineless Leaders and system are corrupt to the core. It is this system that allowed Dr Khan, a hero to be degraded and treated as a common criminal whilst at the same time this filthy system elevated notoriously corrupt politicians who have harmed and looted the country to become innocent over night and enabled them to assume positions of leadership under the shade of the NRO.

Only the Khilafah system offers an effective challenge to a corrupt system and leaders. The Khilafah system would value and ensure the protection of its citizens (Muslim & Non-Muslim); it would encourage contribution from its citizens by being loyal and cultivating a conducive, fair environment where justice is applied and not manipulated.

What kind of signal is this filthy, corrupt system sending to other overseas Pakistanis who have the desire of emulating Dr Khan by serving Pakistan – Don’t!!! Perhaps we should be organising a long march to change this corrupt system.

I was probably one of his biggest fans, but from the past one week or so especially when he revealed national secrets, he let me down. I dont think he should pass any remarks or information which can harm Pakistan at this time; I dont expect these blunders from an intellectual; there was no need of saying that government was involved in flights to north korea etc. no matter what; this is just going to defame the country.

Dear but it is a open secret & not as a signatories of any international NPT,S we should not stick our heads in sand although we have to use "HIKMAT" & specially as intellectuals of the nation.But we have to give him a benefit of doubts because he is gone through a very tough times,embarrrasement & dissgraced by the rullers although every Pakistany admire him as a "MOHSIN".On the other side we should make a National treasure out of him otherwise we have to dig him out with lot of efforts but indeed he is a national asset & we have to give him credit for that & respect him.

I am 1 of da biggest fan of him.He is TRULY a very precious Asset of our country.Its all bcs of him he has given us Strength Tht v can face n e 1 in the world if they step up towards us in neagtive way.QADEER KHAN ZINDABAD.

The way he has been treated does not encourage others to come forward and help the country, instead it sends the opposite signal.
It would have been best i he hadn't said what he did, but I do not believe anyone can blame him, the reward for his sacrifice years of house arrest!

I am a big Dr AQ Khan fan as well, but what makes me like him, is also his main weakness. he isn’t a good politician yet. I want him to remain this way, uncompromising on his principles, arrogant and proud as ever.

He is a national treasure. He just need to understand when to keep his trap shut at times. Other then that, he's ok in my book.

que10,if a person is not good itself will use such a terms.He doesn,t need a character certificate from you or for this matter for anyone.You support freedom of speech than why should he be kept quite.If you were gone through all the pain & agony which he is gone through,you would also react or overact.Is it a good feelings to insult those placed you as Nuclear state,given the title of "Mohsin E Pakistan" disgraced/insulted & presented on TV as a criminal by those they should be charged for treason.who are responsible for all those threat we are facing on our borders:They have not only licked the boots of westerns but also betrayed own nation on many isues.Who have compromised with looterers,plunderers & thieves for their own wested interests,for saving own chair.The signatories of NRO are all corrupt & thieves when they accuse someone have no worth & credibility.

He should be tried for TREASON! he lived like a king in Pakistan before all that happened. It's about time corrupt people like him should be prosecuted.

Like he said on Dawn News "I dont care about Pakistan anymore" no one patriotic would even dare to damage the image of our country!

I think thats the right decision, perfect in every sense from every dimension.

I believe that Musharraf is the biggest traitor. What India couldn't do to us with a war, HE achieved without a WAR!
He has sent us back to the stone ages, failing state (not yet failed, can recover).

And it's not just him, most of them are corrupt to the core!

it is not always important the words,sentences or Grammar one should feel the feelings,thoughts & logic behind the posts (Point of Views).Anyway we are always ready to accept our mistakes & short commings.It is upto the mates & readers to judge.

doctor abdul qadeer khan is off course is a national treasure for pakistan,but,i dont know why they are holdin him for such a long period now.I dont think he has done any thing bad.he has only helped other muslim country.he is a brave man who is not scarred of anyone.All my sympathies are with him,i think he is a true muslim and a true pakistani,

There is no doubt about it that Dr. A. Q. Khan is a national treasure of Pakistan. But in my opinion he little bit entered himself in a contravercy after digging out some true or not true secrets about the n. c, but still he is a hero.

"Dr.Qadeer uff bhi kare tho ho jhata he badnaam --- Wo qatal bhi kareh to churcha nahi hotha".When you push some one against wall without any reason,doesn,t he have a right to defend or disclose the reality.When he was disgraced in public than why those raising the issues of national interests were asked.They goes a step forward than their masters to create kind of a controvercy theirselves.

I still think one of the most dangerous things to come out of this is that it now discourages others who were thinking about making sacfrices to help Pakistan after seeing the way AQ Khan was treated. Who would be willing to come foreward now!
