Business in Pakistan

As Forum Pakistan community consists of large number of overseas Pakistanis, who love there country so much and want to come back to their motherland and want to settle down in Pakistan.

So everybody wants to know that what kind of business one can start. I hope their can be wide range of business setups, one can start.

Please give your opinions about different kind of business setups in Pakistan keeping in mind the following budgets. Also let us know how much one can earn from that kind of business, what is the possible growth rate.

There can be different kind of investments one can be interested in.

1- upto 10 Lakh Pakistani Rupees (most people are interested in this category - small business)
2- 10 to 20 Lakh Pakistani Rupees
3- 20 to 50 Lakh Pakistani Rupees
4- 50 Lakh to 1 Karoor Pakistani Rupees
5- 1 Karor to 5 Karoor Pakistani Rupees
6- 5 Karoor plus Pakistani Rupees

Please give positive suggestions.

Help each other by giving positive suggestions. Specially if you own a business or have good idea about that business, you can guide very well about that field.

Your proper guide to other Pakistanis based on your experience will be your contribution in the development of Pakistan.

Keep the economy moving

Many people from the middle class like to invest their money (upto 10 lakh rupees) in small businesses or buying land/property. These days the price of land/property i.e. flats are off the roof and many people are buying these flats for the future. they have this as their investmet becasue in the future about 10 years from now the property prices in Pakistan are going to be unimagineable. My advise to you is that you should start saving your salaries now becasue after few more years Pakistan is going to be totally changed and with the saved money you could buy a flat as an investment. One of my friends friends father did this and now he is about 45 years of age and has left work retired living at home with his family becasue he has enough money and has many investments.

I just wanted to ask everyone if someone overseas wants to invest in Pakistan. Where should we start from. I tried asking the people at the embassy but I dont didnt a clear answer from them. And the way karachi is going people are holding off investing until things get better. But I personally think now is the best time to get property and land at a good price, plus the KSE is a good long term investment. If anyone knows how people in USA especially in Chicago, can invest please email mohammedgahmed@gmail.com

Our country needs school, colleges and university, if any one want to invest money, they must invest in Edu

I heard lot of good responses from people who invested in Pakistan for businesses or real estate properties. With time it has improved the value of the investment they did in Pk.

The situation is not ideal in pakistan at the moment.... i think one should wait for the election to take palce and monitor the situation after the polls. then make a decision whether to come to pakistan and work or not.
