Budget 2008 Pakistan

hi every one,

every year the govt. proudly announce that the volum of budget much higher than last year, this year we will spend so&so amount on trade, so&so amount on eductaion,so&so on poverty.........but if you look around you would still see poor people begging on roads, you wont find schools and colleges as per requirement, govt. promis that the ratio of jobs will boost up this year but govt. dont realise that every year the ratio of jobless people gose up as well
value of Pak RS. is worst around the globe........and price of each and every thing shooting up to that level where common man cant even reach.so its not just budget the whole system need to be resolved including govt. i mean we need loyal govt. loyal to the poor people of Pakistan not just loyal to the USA or Europe Wink

look at the govt. of the both neighbor countries of Pakistan where they were befor but now their economy is well stable b'cos their govt. think about the people but unfortunately our govt. is more happy to be slave than independent thats why our govt. cant even think what people wants and what people need.

There is nothing for Poor peoples in Budget as was expected.

According to the budget document, the expenditure of 2.01 trillion has been estimated. The government targeted to generate net tax revenues of 1.25 trillion rupees through Federal Board of Revenue, showing an increase of 23.1 percent over this fiscal year.

Total resources available for the expenditure will be 1.84 trillion rupees against 1394 billion available in the outgoing financial year. The budget deficit likely to remain at 4.7 percent of the GDP or 582 billion rupees.

The federal government has allocated 549 billion rupees for the Public sector development programme.

Haven't got any comments for now but just read that Zardari wants to name Murree Road(pindi), the airport and the pindi hospital in Baynazir's name. wow, I was just wondering if these assets that belong to the nation were actually donated by Bhutto family (no offence) or any close relatives or what?

If he's so desperate for naming stuff after her why not make a new hospital( of there own money, well may be) or a road somewhere where they are acutally needed. that'll be well deserved... I think so

I don't think that it is a good budget. They didn't mentioned that from they would get all the fundings.

I agree we should give the time to this new Govt, all the positive signs are there now whether it is dialogue process to improve the law and order situation or provision for increase in the number of SC Judges to 29 in the finance bill pursuant to the policy of national reconciliation. The defence budget has also been discussed for the first time. I believe if we support and strengthen this Govt it will amount to strengthen the democracy in our beloved country. Long live Pakistan.

this govt. has failed to make a single change to mush's policies, it seems the continuation of privous govt.

i hope this time the budget would be nice and effective then last time....we will be looking forward to that.

the budget was good..very well balanced but i doubt that situation will change, as inflation is too high and SBP increase in interest rate is not the right dicision.

The law to increase the capacity of the Supreme Court is a very tragic and will prove the fraud of the century. Please think it over before celebrating it. The idea behind the legislation is how to create a corrupt majority. Let me tell you how. The Dogar forum consists of a large number of corrupt persons who adjudicate based on the phone call from the vested interest. The plan is to restore the deposed judges INTO the Dogar court, not into the ORIGINAL CJ court. CJ is restored but his court is not restored. This will keep the dogar decisions to legitimize Mush and NRO intact. When a case comes for adjudication, a bench is formed where the members are chosen from the available judges. If the number of corrupt judges is larger they will enjoy majority who will support to NRO and the eligibility of the dictator. There is a plan that CJ will be restored but the power to choose members of a bench will not stay in his hand. There will be three judges, one CJ and the other two from the corrupt judges. When there is a controversy as to who should join a bench for a particular bench CJ will be over ruled.
In short CJ will be restored but it would be a RETARDED and helpless CJ and not the CJ known to us.

well i guess ppp is done rite now coz they r not doing 1 bit in the direction which they have showed earlier to the poor guys. for a person who isnt having anything to eat gives a damn to judges restoration, new constitution etc. come on when will we start thinking. nobody gives a shit about all the things been discussed in parliment. u got to come up with solutions enough of the dream life rather nightmare life had been passed by us.
