Britain Psychiatrist Introduction

I am living in Britain since 5 years with my family and work here as a Psychiatrist
I am living a very comfortable life here in Coventry and sometimes do miss Pakistan and at times am worried about all I see on the media about my Country.

I hope and pray that my people and my Country change for a better future and outlook.

I belive that the mess that we are in as a Country and Nation is due to lot of confusion regarding our identitiy and who we are and what do we want to be.

I hope that we are able to resolve that or at least reach to a closure/compromise obout it.

Hope u have a gr8 time here and dont be so down on the happenings in pakistan yaar. Uss mulk ko abhi takk Allah hi chal'la raha hai, aur Inshallah aagay bhi Allah khair hi karay ga. 'se if it was upto our so called leaders, we wud'nt have a country by now.

Yes its not a joke its a real example,

it is quite great to hear so many positive comments from all of you

I have grown up more than 30 years of my life in Pakistan. As most of Pakistanis who has migrated in their mid-lives I am also stuck with actually living in UK but not really, because first thing I wake up in the morning is watch GEO or ARY, dont get really connected with the football culture etc. or local news I am it is just living two paradoxical worlds when I go to work suddenly I am in a new reality. I havent really come to terms with living here and always think about going back.

BUT BUT when it is actually about time to contemplate coming bac,k I look towards not so brighter aspects of coming back and why I migrated here in the first place. I have known many of my colleagues making this very bold attempt to come back and settle but somehow or the other always end up coming back to UK when they either completely frustrated or are completely broke again.

I have seen many of my Indian colleagues who seem to be in much different position in terms of opportunies back home. and haveing lived all my life or at least grown up my entire life being antagonists to Indians esp Hindus, you find it quite painful. and on top of it the negative picture that is always painted in the media and unfortunately partly and mostly we are to blame as well as individuals of this nation. I have felt this even more stringly living away from home as I have always found indian lobby a well snug in and united political fron wherever you are and Pakisntanis shaying away from you and even sometims backstabbing you. This is where the Paradox of reality hits you, You hate indians more and more but you hate you own pepole as well but cant relly say this because you dont want them(others) to know.

I wish our Nation starts showing cahrachter and comes together as a one, as I really love Pakistan very much and miss is a lot.
