Having lived all my life out of Pakistan and in 2 different countries (Saudi and now Canada), all I can say is:
Pakistan is the best country for me. I don't care about all the problems there, to me, it is my heaven on Earth.
I plan on moving there in next 4-5 years after getting some job experience here. Inshallah.
All this citizenship drama is mentally taxing and is not worth it. Stick where you feel at home.
As for non Pakistan desis, I don't know.

I believe for people from Paki origin, its very important to get their primary and secondary education from Pakistan, atleast till FSc(equivalent to A-Levels), the reason I think so is that there are a few subjects like Pakistan Studies, Islamiyat and Urdu which are very important to keep our cultural and religious values intact, a person who does A or Olevels or GCSE's from UK wouldnt know the history of Pakistan or the core religious values we need to know to become better human. I personally think that Pakistan has one of the best universities that have top quality faculty and standards of studies till Graduation level, but when it comes to Masters and PhD level, UK is better. I have seen quite a few students who took their graduation from Pakistan as an average student but they perform very well when they study at UK unis at Masters or PhD level. Plus you dont have to spend much money for a Masters degree cuz its just one year.
