This is how all our tax money is been swallowed and price hike on our regular commodities:
Salary & Govt. Concessions for a Member of NATIONAL ASSEMBLY (MNA)
Ø Monthly Salary : Rs. 120,000 to 200,000
Ø Expense for Constitution per month : Rs.100,000
Ø Office expenditure per month : Rs.140,000
Ø Traveling concession (Rs. 8 per km) : Rs.48,000 (For a visit to ISLAMABAD & return): 6000 km
Ø Daily BETA during Assembly meets : Rs.500
Ø Charge for 1st class (A/C) in train : Free (For any number of times all over PAKISTAN)
Ø Charge for Business Class in flights: Free for 40 trips / year (With wife or P.A.)
Ø Rent for Govt.. hostel any where: Free
Ø Electricity costs at home : Free up to 50,000 units
Ø Local phone call charge : Free up to 1,70,000 calls
Ø TOTAL expense for a MNA per year : Rs. 32,000,000
Ø TOTAL expense for 5 years : Rs. 1,60,000,000
Ø For 534 MNA, the expense for 5 years : Rs. 85 , 440,000,000 (more than 8000 corores)
And they are elected by THE PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN, through a democratic process of this world, not intruded into the assembly on their own or by any qualification.

Look how much each MNA makes n we call our country poor

It is not only the expenses mentioned. A huge amount is burned on the foriegn tours like a stopover in Dubai with all the delegates to attend a party meeting. Further Parties and dinners at the expense of Tax Payers. Not mentioing the special funds allocated to President , Prime Minister Governers Chief Ministers and the Ministers which are exempted von any Accountibility. Not mentioning other Privilages like I wonder when our Politicians and government will realize that most important need of the time is a strict saving of all kind of expenses a very tough Accountibility Policy of all the expenditures. All this inorder to provide real releaf to the Awam.
May Allah give the wiseheit and wisdom to our rulers and they realize the real problems of the country.

We should think about the wealth they plunder,steals & embazle.Is their any accountibility system to prove all this?in older times people have their own conscience for their self accountability & were having fear of Allah.These buggers are Ruthless,characterless,conscienceless & having no fear of Allah in their hearts.We as a nation is also punished through them because we are the one to elect them,we ourself are some how corrupt,we for our own benefits,interests & political affiliations are part of their missmanagement.Allah is also ignoring us because from clerk (Baboos) level till the president we are corrupt taking bribes,commissions & out of way promotions etc.In a society when the "Harram" is self justified giving unnecessary & immoral reasons,how can we expect from Allah to help us.Most of us try to move the religion in their direction to justify his wrongdoings,but we are not ready to change our wrong direction & goes in the direction of the religion as ordered by the relgion & which is Allah shown way.We goes mostly the "Shaitan" showed ways,we have to realise,repent & than ask for forgiveness so that we should be rewarded with better leaders & we enjoys peacefull,sucessfull & satisfied life.

Super powers want that we should have a colonial system in the form of these MNA's .Thats why these people are acting like colonial masters.Lets pray for the better Pakistan.

Dear Salman:We should not expect from western countries or someone else to do any good to us.We should come out of this wishfull thinking we should ourself realise our own responsibilities & problems.Why we as a Pakistani parliamentarian,leaders & rullers play in their hands.There is a Pashto example:"Stop your hen not to lay eggs in your neighbour house,don,t accuse neighbour for that" we should elect those they are having Pakistani agenda,they are devoted to Pakistan,they are not ready to compromise on national issues & they are not for sale.We have to ssafeguard our own national interests,no one from outside will solve our problems.We should mind our own business than we can face the challenges.Self reliance,self efficiency & to be sself sufficient are the ingridients for the national pride & respect.When we have these no one can dictate their terms on us.

An eye opener

Seems like many of us are willing to believe whatever garbage a knuckle-head posts on this forum.

This is a pack of lies and anybody who actually reads through these numbers and also has an ounce of grey matter in his head can clearly figure out this lie.

MNAs in Pakistan are paid nowhere near any such amount. Actually this was circulated on indian forums as salary of indian MNAs which has been shamelessly now labeled as of Pakistani MNAs.

This so called data says return travel distance to Islamabad of 6000 km. That means travel from a place that is 3000 km from Islamabad. Such place can be in Azerbaijan or turkey or china but certainly no city in Pakistan is 3000 km from Islamabad.

Then there is mention of office expenditure when no office or any office allowance is given to any MNA in Pakistan.

And what the heck is expenses for constitution? Utter rubbish...

The clincher comes at the end when total expenses for 534 MNAs are calculated !!!!

Hello..... there are 342 MNA in Pakistan...... 534 is the number of MNAs in India....

Seems like the cronies of dictators are trying to malign the democratic forces and for this purpose they are willing to propagate any lie as a fact...

Would be interesting to see how much a general of army costs to Pakistani nation and what a general actually does for Pakistan........

Thats it. I'm running in the election yaar. cant beat those perks. LOL.

Dear q10,Where in USA or in Pakistan.If in USA you have to be anti-Islam(Which i cannot expect from you) although your tendency is towards "Enlightened Moderation"(I might be mistaken).If you want to run for election in Pakistan,than theere are few posibilities that you might be elected.If you have plundered or embazled national wealth than through NRO,if not you must have a backing of American lobby.Or you have to bring the otherwise of the character certificate, certifying that you are capable of doing any immoral & illegal things.So dear upto you!!! or you will be astonished to see two votes in your ballot box,one from you & one which you will never find out who casted in your favour but dozens of your relatives & friends will let you feel be obliged to them that it was their vote.So there is no objection for you to run in or after election in front of people having rotten tomatoes in hand:lol: Laughing

Because the real money is lying in foreign banks.Whenever these Chors have taken over we are facing inflation.These MNA,S are only entitled to ride Donkeys (Right now they are riding our poor Masses) & to live only in tents outside parliament.More they have not offered although they think of theirselves to be "Horses" ready for "Horse Trading".
