Aina, (Urdu: آئینہ) also known as The Mirror, is a 1977 Pakistani film directed by Nazrul Islam.
Singers are Nayyara Noor, Mehnaz and Alamgir.
The film starred Shabnam and Nadeem in the lead roles and holds the distinction for being
the longest running Pakistani film on record.
This film was also copied by an Indian director Deepak Sareen.
Film Business
Aina combined completed more than 300 weeks but less than 350 weeks in Karachi.
This should be in mind that all cinemas are comprises of 800 to 1000 seats for
viewers but Scala cinema has only 198 seats.

This movie was so popular that it was shown in a Karachi Cinema for almost 8 consecutive
years (400 consecutive weeks). The film ran to packed crowds in theaters across China as well.
One of its songs ujhay dil se na bhulaana’ won Nigar Award for the best song of the year 1977.
