some of its good and some of its not. Imran khan hmm! I for one am very disappointed in him. You do not win the game by sitting out. He did just that. Alot to learn for him. Hindsight's a great thing but surely even before election no one thought that he was doing the right thing. He s looking like an idiot now for tearing up nomination papers coz from all accounts elections seemed to be relatively free. So lots of words with nothing to back em up with.

yes thats right. I also believe that he should have contested, it would have given him and his party a power boost. As you said these elections look fairly free which was quiet unexpected, but there is onething that we are missing which is that I dont think and nor Imran khan thinks that the govt. formed will have a long time to rule, as there will be problems between musharraf and parliament, musharraf can denounce parliament anytime and if parliament takes a step before musharraf they can fire musharraf, in second case I think parliament might last longer than expected but I dont think that in first case it will even work more than a year. The reason why PPP and PMLN are shouting for reinstating Chief Justice is that they want to secure their position in power because if musharraf breaks parliament, they can legally prosecute musharraf and especially when Chaudhry Iftikhar is on the CJ seat, the verdict will be theirs.
Having said that I agree that it was a blunder not to participate as his party will be highly unpopular now which was not the case before elections.

I dont think there will be any progress between imran and zardari, the reason being imran knows very well about zardari's history and dont think he gona compromise over anything with zardari. But anyway whoever makes the next govt. I hope they do some work for people of Pakistan
