| 6 Bomb blasts in Karachi |
|
KARACHI: One person was killed and 50 others injured in a series of 6 blasts that ripped through different areas of the busiest city of country on Monday.
Two explosions occurred here in Banaras area. One of the blasts happened in a pile of garbage while the other one at a footpath near Banaras chowk, injuring 16 people. They were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, sources said.
Enraged people took the streets and started pelting stones at moving vehicles.
The third explosion ripped through a mini truck in North Nazimabad area of Shahra-e-Noor Jehan near Sohail mosque. Five persons were injured, police sources said. However, Chhipa sources said 8 persons were taken to hospital.
There are reports of the fourth blast in Hyderi area near a children’s school.
Police mobiles have reached the blasts’s sites while ambulances are shifting the injured to local hospitals.
The fifth blast occurred here in a motor cycle in Qasba colony area, killing one person.
A policeman was injured in the sixth blast in a bicycle in Manghopir.
Two blasts also occurred in Pak colony in which 7 persons are reported injured.
Police has not come up with any statement confirming the above blasts.
Police and Rangers have been put on high alert in the city following the series of blasts.
Emergency has been declared in local hospitals.
We should condemn this act strictly. These people canot be muslims, because this is never allowed in Islam?

I just got this news and m still in shock. We should get rid off these religious extremist and illiterate mulas and their followers. They should be dealt with iron hand!!

Western powers have decided to destabilize Muslim World.somewhere they are occupying other places they are just doing bomb blast.but ultimatley the result is the same.I think we should called is Muslim holocast.and remember throughout our history.Lets these wounds help us correct our direction

My Mumani lives in karachi alone as my mamoo has passed away. Its hard for her already and these things make her life there a lot more difficult.How can someone want to cause so much destruction and damage to other human beings. Whats the point , Allah put us on this earth ,and it is up to Allah when we go, not someone deciding to blow up 7 bombs and injure kids.

It is really distressing to hear such news of innocent people getting killed and for no reason. No one can ever justify these killings. It is only the enemies of the state who benifit from such act of sheer terrorism. Muslims should not forget "Killing one person is like killing the whole humanity". I just wish that the people who make someone do such acts of suicide bombing consider how many families they destroy by just one bomb and what they are going to get in the life hereafter (the Day of Judgment) for it!!!!!!!!!

Usually the militants target police, etc.
Don't know who would target the poorer section of our community? Have a sneaky suspicion the Govt might be involved (help create env. of fear as in UK and US) amongst the normal population.
